How are PK and Vijay worse than leeches like Naidu who is one of the most corrupt politician who is making Andhra into his own family affair or bigger leech in Stalin.

They atleast won on their own strength.

Naidu may be corrupt.

But he does have solid vision.

He built Hyderabad...could have built Amravathi as well if not for the YSRP.

Just because politicians are bad doesn’t mean you elect superstar actors who live in a bubble, don’t know ground realities and are getting votes because of the roles they play and not because of their background or credentials.

People like Naidu etc might be corrupt but are seasoned politicians who know administration.

Can these people even answer basic 8th standard civics question?

How do you know they don't have any ground realities.

NTR with all his flaws is still the best CM for Andhra Pradesh. One example NTR changed the education system in Andhra Pradesh. This leech Naidu turned that education system into a  joke .Naidu  could not get a vote on his own now has become undisputed leader in Andhra and his son now becoming minister.

Vijay just like NTR did not have to get into politics. Stalin and his son who is Dy CM if I am not wrong done other than using politics to become extremely rich and treating state as their own personal property.

You always want leaders with vision and  who don't need corruption to earn money .To become CM you need the ability to change, lead and delagte .Adimistration can be learnt, CS and other IAS officers are there to help.

Why is this guy not the face of TN politics. Sometimes I feel democracy is useless in India, so many chapris, anyone who votes for people like this Vijay have 0 acumen or brains,

Its not only problem with TN, across the country people wants dramatic figures first.

Once they see the real face then they resort to sober choices..

Annamalai isnt a loud mouth, thats his problem. Such players need time to develop.

While if you're a loudmouth like AK or RaGa or Tejasvi Yadav....you will climb the race sooner that the rest.

Man if anpadhs like Pawan Kalyan and Vijay can win, Dhoni can be the first multi state CM- Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Bihar @velu

Pawan Kalyan is no way a anpadh. Dude is a voracious reader.

Dude can speak in 5 languages.

From Google :dontknow:

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has an educational qualification of 10th standard pass (Secondary School Certificate)

ps: now if he was a great break through creative artist with a vision and an innovator ,I would have given him benefit of doubt but his movies don’t give me that vibe too.

great, he reads books. I am sure there are voracious readers who have credentials too. Not impressive enough.

at least he says the right things politically so for now I will  give him a pass but always skeptical with these tolly- bolly-hollywoodiyas.  They don’t have any ideology and will flip in a moment of convenience.

I agree he did bring hitech city but that IMO that does not offset his massive corruption. Does Andhra need another capital city in first place?

NTR- MGR being elected is no benchmark. People were even more gullible in the 70s-80s.

also not sure when Telugu people made NTR into Mahatma Gandhi where he can’t be criticized. He had a colorful life as an actor, brought in caste- based politics. Obviously they are always there in India especially in AP but there was a lot of caste divide. Used to be the original Donald Trump making over the top statements.

also there was a huge anti-incumbency against Congress and he provided the alternative.

its not something to look back at fondly.

one thing he did for Telugu people is he brought attention to Telugu identity as everyone were called “madrasis”, however not sure if it was in a good way.

Naidu was a seasoned and career politician. He might have been corrupt but he knows how to run things. YSR to a lesser extent.

One step at a time bro  i was in Kolkata I.5 yrs back. Saw some shocking things like Namaz on the streets by huge crowds, dirty maintenance of heritage Hindu temples etc etc and definitely a demography change issue as I have visited Kolkata off and on over the years.

let’s walk before we can run. Mumbai kya Switzerland bhi bana denge :giggle:

No one is above crticism, without  NTR ,Naidu does not exist today. No he did not bring caste based politcs, it is Naidu who behind the scenes who ushered Kamma based politcs into the system.

Naidu is a leech .

Yeah. They will flip. Pawan has flipped too. From communism to hindutva. He is also a poor organizer. His party still does not have a robust structure.

Although the kapu caste based supports him a lot, he himself is not a casteist.

Honestly it is surprising that TMC managed to get these many seats and Mamta is still ahead on her seat after what happened in RG Kar case and Sandeshkhali.

Scenes like these from protests were simply unforgettable for me, even though I have never visited that state.

Congress got routed forever after Nirbhaya case in Delhi.

I am not sure if andhra needs a new city, but our country does need planned cities from ground up.

The existing cities are dumps and will be a laughing stock before west and east asia.

Naidu was brains behind the party. The chief organizer and deal broker. He was a defacto number 2. He used to sit in party office for 16 hours a day and handled all the operations.

It is fair that he became its leader after ntr. And he became.

He is no leech.

New cities are nothing but money making schemes for politicians.Vizag could have been capital city .It has potential to expand .

Naidu wanted his caste who have strong hold in East, west and Guntur to benefit.

No he was not, the brains behind was  Nadela Bhaskar rao who committed political suicide by backstabbing NTR in when he went for his surgery.
