Nah Kuldeep is not that guy, he was/is always that second/third spinner.He cannot be lead spinner.He simply does not have it in him to be lead spinner.

Just need to pick proper batters , not make-shift kind. If some1 is doing good at #7 they are not necessarily going to replicate same thing at #3/4.

test is v.diiferent at $6/7 ball is older bowlers have already tired and batter can take advantage of that , yes a #7 can be pushed up to #5 on given day.

 

Pick bowlers who can ensure 20 wkts.

 

Historically on v.high performing fc batter have done well in test for Ind, even some v.high performing fc players failed at test level, so there is no way low performing (looking good on eye test ) are going to do good at test level.

Kuldeep has to take responsibility now. He's experienced enough. Else we need to drop him and look elsewhere

India should stop playing a lot of cricket.

have a proper season 

 

have a list of traditional grounds where the team knows the play

 

build excitement around the series. This series and widows were horrible 

 

Reduce the number of ranji teams 

 

have seperate selection teams for tests , odi and t20s

 

selectors must watch all the ranji games 

 

allow players to play in overseas   leagues 

 

dilute Indian cricket a bit .

make it harder for an India cap ..

 

reward journeymen 

 

Please improve broadcast and production value .. it’s unwatchable atm

Kotian has to put out numbers with ball. Otherwise he will be in the shades of Sundar. I have sene him bowl. He is not better than Sundar with ball. But he is a clutch batter down the order. POtential all rounder.  India has no choice but to stick with Sundar. Once Jadeja leaves then we can bring in Harsh Dubey, Sindhu, Suthar. We did try some of these guys in the A game. They were not that effective.

That was flat wicket. I don't really rate kotian  but need to try new players Harsh Dubey Sindhu  Suthar are quite similar

Player like Sundar who other than taking those 10 plus wickets in one test has never looked like a lead spinner.Question needs to be asked is he good enough to be in top 5.

 

IMO the answer is no, Sundar is not good enough to be in top five and he is not good enough to command a place as a bowler.

 

You add declining Jadeja to the Mix, you have two players who can neither bat in top five nor can bowl well. Kuldeep is second or third spinner on his best days. 

 

These three spinners combined will not get you 20 wickets on decent Indian pitches.We have Siraj as another bowler who does nothing for most part.

 

Our geniuses added Jurel and Reddy to the mix  to ruin batting also.Do we need to know why we are getting whitewashed.

 

Bumrah is just fine but he needs help from spinners in India.It is unfair to ask Bumrah to be leading bowler even in India.
