20 year old from UP , deserves a separate thread on him , purr performances in UPt20 , U23 and in SMAT 2025 , he is leading the allrounder pack leaps and bounds .

 

Explosive hitting lower down , swings the bat like a good swing, handy with the  ball !! One to watch out for

not sure what are you implying, Lord Jadeja has done enough for CSK , and they want to find a suitable replacement , more than this, it’s better to just look at a few of his recent innings and videos of UPT20 , and you’ll know why is there a hype about this kid!

not sure what’s pintu parchu style , but it’s commendable that a 20 yr old has these all round skills and ability to “cow slash”

You know Ayush mhatre is 17, Vaibhav is 15.  There are many guys who play aggressively with correct technique.

that’s because they are pure batsmen, he is primarily a bowler if you din’t notice & a bowler who can bat like this will be an asset to any team! 

 

Also from the video i see he can hit 360, cut to point , life over cover, straight ,cow corner,  sweep , scoop .. has all the shots

Other franchises have been smart in knowing  who will fit into CSKs plans and raising the bidding amount by multifold esp for Veer since Jadeja left. In the past CSK used to get their players too easily.

Jadu has retired frm T20is and soon will retire from Odis and may be tests too, then Axar will be only LA spinner. Csk has played their card right this time. 

Ind will need Axar's back-up Veer can be a good back-up till there is no Leg-spinner who can bat.

Kurnal is also 34-35 yo so no point in creating him a back-up.

 

They also took a punt on wk too. They can push sanju in Ind side and simultaneously they can push Urvil or Karthik if Ind is looking to move ahead from current set of wk in white ball. Kl is also playing his last Odi wc and Ind may need his back-up in Odis too going into the wc.
