Yes Sonali was something. 

 

Sarfarosh like Dhurandhar also have importance to all actors including small characters. Sarfarosh also had a brilliant soundtrack. Sarfarosh also went into great details starting from investigation into a pillage in South India and then finally landing in Bahid, Rajasthan. In fact, Sarfarosh was more courageous to land the message with Urduwood in control. But to do it in a more subtle manner. 

 

We will see if Dhurandhar can last in public memory.

Fragments are true. But can't be directly correlated to 26/11. Such information can never be public.

He does well in different roles. was great in Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat (khilji) as well. Right from his first movie, ladies vs Ricky Behl.

 

You seem to have a bias because he is very enthusiastic, loud, dresses strangely in real life.

Ranveer as an actor is top notch. But his clownish antics throw many people off, eg. what he did in the Kantara event before release of this movie. 

 

Ranbir, Vicky are more sorted and media trained, carry themselves much better. Ranveer might be a nice guy but he must change his public image like all superstars before him.

IMO, Sonali Bendre was no less than Aishwarya Rai. But didn't get similar fame.

Ranveer is very eccentric. Dude is rumored to stay naked inside his vanity van. He has caravan of 5 vehicles and literally bleeds money from producers. My bet is that he will self destruct.

Between the 3, Vicky is the most sorted. Voice of Vicky is better than the other two.

 

Voice of Ranbir is so dull and unclear, the worst. If we compare with the voices of old actors like Dharmendra and Amitabh, Ranveer and Ranbir are so much lacking.

 

R Madhvan is another unsung hero of dhurandhar.  Played His character way better than Paresh Rawal in Uri!! Great actor, I am a fan from rhtdm. In 3 idiots, him n sharman Joshi were no less than aamir.

In my view, Dhurandhar 2 might be the first film this century where we will go back to queues and advance booking lines and black tickets. I can very well imagine this will biggest Day 1 in India's history. And it makes sense. Dhurandhar 1 will go for another 2 weeks easily. Then there is Netflix release. In next one month promotion for 2 starts. And it may make sense to watch it FDFS given the suspense and hype around few things like "Badey Sahab".

In general, in south, we expect our celebs to be as "dignified" as possible. Very much in opposite to colorful persona of Ranveer.

Been related to or close to artists, actors and filmmakers. It's difficult to have a normal life or even be normal. They have major malfunctions and awkwardness plus extreme sensitivity. So Ranveer's bi polar behaviour is not unusual. Film / Art is one place this can get awarded. 

 

Anyway I think we give too much importance to actors or stars. They are good actors and good dentists. I would anyday prefer celebrity dentists who have more real world impact. In ancient India artists and actors were bhaands who were kept outside the city. They are unfit for normal societal life.  There are exceptions ofcourse.

Yeah producers were complaining about him having many vanity fans and keeping generators on 24x7.

At the end of the day, all 3 are terrific actors. This amazing trio and other actors like Rajkumar Rao, Shahid Kapoor, Ayushman Kurrana, Vikrant Massey who appear in lesser budget movies. Very strong generation of male actors in Bollywood. They need strong writers and directors too.....more like Aditya Dhar, Sriram Raghavan, Zoya, Shoojit Sircar, Meghna Gulzar etc.  

 

When it comes to actresses though, very weak generation. Even Alia Bhatt is nothing special, Deepika is a statue....others are either models thrust into acting or no screen presence. Far cry from the generation of Kangana, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan.

Sonali was more real. Aishwarya also extremely beautiful but slightly fake.

Most of them are multi starrer though. He is a great actor but perhaps lacks the pull a star has. Maybe that'll change now.

 

Should not have quit bollywood despite his balding issues
