1 uncapped was understandable.. 2 looks weird. They could have instead gone for a slightly more established played like Venky Iyer. He went at half the price of Kartik Sharma

Yea.. After Ayush Mhatre, Urvil patel they probably thought this is the way to go. Nothing wrong. But you still have to understand they are raw at this level. There is no guarantee this will get translated into potential.

The only reason they have so much of purse is because their core team is built using replacements at base price - Mhatre, Urvil, Brevis are all base price buys. Even Ellis came pretty cheap. And Akeal is also a base price buy.. Btw, Pdogg predicted that CSK would get Akeal and no one else would bid for him
