KD can play against Pak and maybe Eng. Against NZ, Aus, RSA, no brainer really...they can't read Varun.

I think Hardik should be at 7 in general but can be used higher at 5 depending on situation. 

 

Axar should never bat any higher than 6. It just creates more problems than in solves. He should come after recognized batters. He is not better at striking the ball compared to any of the others. 

 

Either Rinku or Dube bats no.5. 

 

Do not waste Rinku at 7/8 when he is playing.

Hardik's best number are when he plays #5, do not think he is going to change that. Event his series he got good score at 5.

He needs few spinner to hit 4/6 

 

Rinku will come down after dube, he is like a batter after batters role. And if there is mo mini-collapse he comes in. Also in case Sky does not pick form by then he can come #4 and Sky drops to 5/6. Playing 11 is spot on,

Yeah, if SKY keeps failing, let him come down the order with less balls to face, maybe he can have impactful 20s at 180 SR there.

Aussies don't care about T20s that much. The one WT20 they won was because of tosses

Do you think Dube will have anything to do if Rinku is batting above him.That is one spot where they needed bowling allrounder.You need a sixth bowling option.

Starting XI:

SKY (c) (ideally should've been Iyer and we would be hands-on favorites to win)

Axar (at 5 to deepen the lineup and he plays a decent 20-30 run cameo)

Rinku

Pandya

Dube

Arshdeep

Bumrah

Varun C

 

Overall a good team unless the team tries to fit in Kuldeep in the playing XI. He should be a backup for Varun C. And even Sundar needs to be on the bench.

Dube should be used in middle overs to hit spin

they will combine to bowl 6 overs most days. Dube,Abhishek,Tilak can cover the rest
