most disgraceful showing by a team,if India had tried such a thing as not trying to qualify then those u-19 boys would never be forgiven.

There U19 side is quite mediocre barring Minhas,he's quality

They must have received the message from their Field Marshal at half time to boycott the win in this game as well.

Takeaways other than Suryavanshi:

Ambrish. Good batsman. Decent fast bowler. Should be fast tracked

Kanishk Chauhan: Axar patel mould. Should be persisted with.

Kundu: lets see. He was nervous today. Played bad shots in delicate situation.

Henil : persist with him.

Mhatre : cant pay pace or swing. Flat track Bully. We have these types of openers in dozens.

how did England and India not a play a game against each other when they are in the same group?

In super 6 you only play 2 games against sides who didnt have the same ranking as you in group stage. India england topped their respective groups so they played the others.

Raza and both leggies are talented as well.  I would gladly take that Chinaman guy over our spinners

Kundu played important knocks in Australia, England even ehre 3 times. That was an error in judgement.

Mhatre is a curious case ,has done well at higher level, surprisingly hasn't done anything in U19 cricket

He is good yar... I know we can be biased but if he was Indian ICF would be raving about this guy.  His spell in last U19 WC SF was so epic, almost felt dude didn't deserved to be on losing side.

What you are implying is an insult to Indian players. Pakistan are not good enough in all aspects from coaching to players.

Not sure why its an insult to Indian players..its a mock at Pak instead..

as far as game is concerned..They hv better bowling attack than India

Mhatre has not been good in these U-19 Odis, he has been good In U-19 tests and T20 (Smat, IPL.)

Has v.poor U-19 Odi record, he does not seem to understand whats the % of risk and reward compared to t20s and Odis.

Not sure what are coaches and Tm doing with him and Vaibhav, he does not need to be ultra-agressive here, just ask him to play 70-75 balls.

He does not need to win the match on his own batting, he is not going to do that in Odis. Even if he play is 1-2 down gears he will still be scoring at good rate and then he can score at higher rate once set.

Think batting is overall is good for the age group, lot of potentials here. Fast bowling is not that good. And as some other posters mentioned in recent times Ind fast bowlers are no longer coming from U-19 as other avenues opens up. So good that they are investing in ppl who are not just one dimensional

He cant play pace. He has been exposed again and again. Sanju Samson redux

Na ,he can play, his problem is pacing innings in Odis

Is very nervy in the beginning, bit like Rohit who used to be very vulnerable to movement at the crease early on

Remedy is exposure and discipline,he shall come good if stays disciplined for he has skill

Tyagi looked several times threatening than this guy,he is not even Sushant Mishra level who was bulldozing opponents that WC even playing as second fiddle to Tyagi
