Zero interest in watching them stat pad against Afghans.

It is part of FTP though why are we playing Afg home games in India (Delhi)?

Wasn't UAE Sharjah where they used to host sides?

Only reason is maybe Asian Games start that week as well and there could be very short turnaround for the side

Scheduling  T20 series against Afghanistan is not problem.  We can Play T20 series with everyone's but there will be another series going on together . We can play 3 T20 team's and every india team  can defeat anyone.

How come they squeezed in as Zimbabwe tour? Total waste unless it’s a A team tour.

Hockey mein draws are so fair. Ind, Pak don't always land in the same group, in fact they are in the same group in FIH WC this time after 12 years...even historically they face off once in 10 years in Olympics/WC, khair ab toh Pooks don't even qualify to Olympics. This Asian Games also, both in different pools and unlikely to face each other even in KOs. WC mein bhi there was live drawing of lots, no manipulation. 

 

But somehow in cricket, Ind and Pak are set to face each other in SF of Asian Games, despite being the top 2 ranked teams from Asia. Ideally it should have been #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3 in SFs. But yahaan sab ulta hai. They will get fed minnows like Hong Kong/Japan/Oman/Malaysia in QFs to guarantee their SF match....bilkul risk nahi lenge ACC wale. Afg, SL, BD, Nepal all in same half somehow.

This has to be easily one of the worst & boring cricketing year, schedule wise, for Indian team. There was only one T20 world cup up and early in the year and thats it. And truth be told, even that didnt feel anything like the 2024 version and most people have already forgotten the win. Apart from that world T20, rest of the year is filled with mediocre cricket - multiple series with Afghans, Tests in SL, ODIs with Windies, a horror IPL.

 

Is this is the worst year we have witnessed as Indian cricket fan?
