That argument doesn't hold much merit. Especially when you choose to argue in a language that is an artefact of British Imperialism as against Sangam Tamil or Vedic Sanskrit. Names as a function of a whole host of things. Family names in the Arab world include names of the tribes and sub clans. Among Indian Muslims, family names are more a function of occupation / caste and location. There maybe some overlap of first names with Arabs, but those names are Islamic names. Much larger overlap with Islamic first names from Afghanistan/Iran than Arabia. And preferred first names change every generation. Many centuries ago, Hindus named their kids Yudhisthir, Dushyasan, Ajatshatru, Dyaneshwar etc. No one names their kids any of these names anymore. Half a century ago names like Rahul, Vikram, Arjun, Deepak etc were common. These names are also not so popular anymore. Instead you have names like Aahan, Vihaan, Riyaan, Hrehaan, Hahahan etc. Artefacts of woke imperialism?
