I think it's getting to a point where rational objectives are out of the equation on both sides. And that's never a good situation. a) Trump can't pull back now. He wants to get a win and hurt China. b) Iran knows that strait of hormuz is it's only leverage again trump. If they release this, they are cooked. Don't see how any negotiation can happen under circumstances. From India's point of view, I am less concerned about oil now and more fertilizers. Secondary effects will start to show in couple of months. Don't know how they are planning to manage this piece. Why I think 2-3 weeks is because no one has appetite to extend this any further.
