Gollum Posted February 11 Posted February 11 160 will be a winning score in Premadasa. It spins a lot there unlike SSC and Kandy. In fact I back India to defend even 140 there. Need to bowl 15+ overs of spin, and not aim too high when batting, be pragmatic about the conditions.

Also in that case, Axar should bat at 4, he is our best batsman on raging turners. And knowing how clutch he is, better trust him to guide us through the middle overs.

No pitch so far supports that sort of perpetual pedal to the metal high octane stroke play. Guy like Iyer might not be a bad inclusion. Gollum 1

deathmonger Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) One more thing that is not being seen. For all the crying Pooks do over Rauf losing them the AC final, he was a positive matchup vs Surya. Remember the first Asia Cup game. Pak played 4 spinners there too - Abrar, Nawaz, Saim, Muqeem and it was a cakewalk with Surya hitting 47 (37). Edited February 11 by deathmonger
