tapandrun Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Samad not sure, he has v.limited range. As other poster mentioned about parag his bowling is underrated and his batting in t20s is overrated. His technique wont allow him to hit 4/6 consistently. Out side 1-2 IPL seasons he has to show that he can win games on his own, he is v.good out-fielder v.fast and amongst safest catchers in Ind. Should have been in the team inplace of Sundar. He should work on his t20 batting style, he has develop full swing of the bat, rt. now he just punches the ball. unless he middles the ball it will not go to the boundary consistently, that has been his issue throughout his IPL career:- he can not hit 4/6s consistently with his technique unless he middles its going to lob up in the air.

Better to go with someone like Parag who at least has the potential to fill in for Dube. Ramandeep's bowling is downright atrocious, and he's not a reliable batter either. He needed at least one skill to be up there to be considered as a replacement. Right now he doesn't have the skills to do so. Manucrick 1
