Massive change I have seen in Railways.

Except for the hygiene issue, I think we have done well in the production of wagons and passenger coaches.

The production of "Bharat" class trains, which is not only modern looking but has quick acceleration has resulted quite a smooth journey in comparison to older engine carriage. People are opting for Vande Bharat trains heavily between Hyd-Vizag, Hyd-Bangalore or Hyd-Tirupati.

Although capacity enhancement is still WIP. East & West DFC is a massive Win for the passenger & Cargo movement. Hope soon we will get East West & North South DFC as well.

By 2050 massive metro networks (350+ stations) in all major cities and even smaller cities will have 40-50 station metros.

HSR will over the country.

All trains whether local or passenger will be Air Conditioned.

We telugus will colonize texas and cede it to indian union

Telugu veera levaraaa..Deeksha bhooni saagaraaa..

@Chaos @Tillu

Telugus are gaining ground in both India with their states becoming richer and also as part of the tech diaspora.

I foresee Telugu cinema becoming a global phenomenon in the next 25 years boosted by all India as well.

Telugu cinema always had the over the top nature but now is getting the VFX/technical chops.

I saw Kalki yesterday - parts of it were awesome even if some parts had that cheese.

Eventually that style will get refined real good.

Should Kalki even be counted as Telugu cinema?

Most of the ticket sales would be from the Hindi version.

Most of the actors are not from the Telugu film industry.

Main guys are Telugu - Director and lead actor, VFX etc

Since it is "pan India" nowadays all movies have mixed casts -

Varanasi is Telugu with Telugu lead actor and director with Hindi heroine and Malayali villain.

Ramayana is Bollywood with Bollywood lead actor and director with Tamil heroine and Kannada villain.

Indian blackpilling is dumb.

India has one of the fastest GDP/HDI growths in the world since economic reforms.

People compare to China and keep crying when

1. China opened up earlier

2. Just because China has done really well (best in human history) it doesn't mean that India hasn't done well

India will be solidly on the lower end of the first world by mid century - similar to Malaysia, Turkey etc and that will be include everything it entails

1. Huge metro systems in cities and extensive HSR networks

2. Globally dominant brands/products

3. Popular soft power around the world with increase in arts quality

4. Sports excellence

All of this is already happening. Compare current India to India of 2000. Just that you can't see the forest for the trees.

Post 2050 India will still keep on growing to converge to European/East Asian/American standards.

Don't want to derail the thread, but the blackpill is not due to us lacking in GDP or development, but because the benefits of that don't reach as intended. It is still a low trust society where Clean air, water and food are luxuries. People can literally die due to drinking water/falling in ditches and there is no accountability. Law and order is a joke where rich and powerful run the show.

Most of these things are party agnostic and the common theme is corruption which is extremely normalised. Even if we become 10 trillion economy, that will be a roadblock.

Sure we might cure all these and become developed in 50 years but then the  blackpill is for NOW.

There are millions of these skilled craftasmen across India.

But they do not go far in our rote oriented education system.

These guys are more valuable to our economy than a MBA word celler.

Thing is all of these have declined massively over the last 30 years.

India is a $3k pci country. Can't expect first world amenities at that level.

All of those issues (corruption, cleanliness etc) are symptoms not a cause. As India becomes richer they will vanish (or at least become less - even first world countries have issues with corruption and rich and powerful running the show - Epstein Files is a case in point).
