tapandrun Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Not sure what he is talking about , or if the post is fake or not but his last season sr in ipl was 147 and this season too its 148. Game has progressed too far , there are batter who are batting at 160+ sr . Viewer want to see Abhishek+Head/Arya+Prab/Jiaswal+Vaibhav kind of opening pair. There is a better option for opening who can do wk too is seifert , his t20i sr in last 2 yrs is 160+. And if rahane has best sr in pp and his over all sr is 148 then he is slowing down considerably and should retire or get out himself as soon sa pp is over. his stay after pp is causing the team.
deepdynamo Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Rahane time is long up. He tried to invent himself by going from 130 sr to 150 sr but then the world have moved on to 175+ sr. tapandrun 1

Ruturaj is not even that senior, just outdated for modern T20 Manucrick and tapandrun 2

Ultimate_Game Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Rahane's the reason the franchise went from table topper under Iyer to bottom feeder under Rahane. Rahane's a misfit in T20s and shouldn't even be in the team, forget being the captain. Manucrick 1

Yes Top teams in intnl t20is are moving towards 150 and more as standard ,so its fair to assume IPL kind of league 162+ sr. Anyone not playing at that sr is just making the team weaker and max 190 1st inning and 175 2nd innings..
JazzyB Posted April 15 Posted April 15 KKR should go with this given who they have on the bench Watson Narine Raghuvanahi Rinku Singh Tejaswi Russell Bravo Mandeep Singh Anukul Roy Varun Tyagi batting till 9 7 bowling options Impact player can still be used
vvvslaxman Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Is he the second highest run getter for them. That is the problem. Every one sucks. HE is sill better than RUturaj. Problem is Rahane can be an ally for a strong batting line up. But he is the main man given the form of others.

KKr has fire-power but the problem is that Allen is scoring at all, then the issue comes that rahane can only play in pp and add ankrish too that as well both should not be at crease together. Then green is also not scoring and then you have rinku. So the team sums up that big t20 players are not perforning and 2 batter who are performing are just auumlator and they have a middle order who can not play spin. rhane+powell+rinku+green can not play spin. so having 2 of them together in the crease is either dropping down runrate or there is an valid wkt opportunity. So they have to take a punt now here drop one of rahane or ankrish , dropping rahane makes more sense add Allen+seifert at the top. then ankrsih and then powell. and only 1 of rinku or raman can play. This 11 could work for them :: Allen Seifert ankrish powell Raman/rinku Tirpathi Dhaiya Roy Sunil Tyagi Arora/umran The only new player they are investing in is ankrish.. And they took Manish+Rahane+Tripathi+Rinlu+raman <-- All low potentail Ind players only tripathi had more than 1 good season and that was 2022 Edited April 15 by tapandrun
