Vk1 Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) Immediate thing that comes to mind is to get rid of 2 reviews per innings. 1. Have a fixed number of reviews per season so that teams use them judiciously. Penalize them by cutting down 1 review if they get 3 consecutive reviews wrong. Give 25 reviews for 14 games or something on those lines to save time. 2. Allow mid season trades by capping squad size from 25 to 21/22 players after say 5 games and allow those 3/4 players not in contention to be traded.. it is better to give opportunities elsewhere than go entire season without any game. Also, some franchises with their leftover purse blindly pick players towards the end of the auction in order to deny the players to other franchises. What else can be done? Vk1 Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 Get rid of these umpires... asansols are biggest free loaders of this world especially the third umpire and the match referee. I hope AI would eat this profession and hang them dry
express bowling Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I actually like the Impact Sub rule. Because it allows proper pacers to come in in the 2nd innings. And one extra pacer / bowler to start in the 1st innings. Otherwise we will see more bits and pieces players blocking places. Vk1, Lord, BacktoCricaddict and 1 other 4

Lord Posted April 23 Posted April 23 There must be a way to release guys who are forever on bench. Lot of India prospects just keep warming the bench and don't get noticed Gurnoor Umran Sai Kishore Yudhvir Brar Venkatesh Iyer to name a few express bowling and BacktoCricaddict 2

He is still an India prospect and richer then all the others combined except Iyer He already played 2-3 games. Talking of those forever on bench especially young player Ravi_Shastri 1

nevada Posted April 23 Posted April 23 The orange cap should be given to the player with the highest strike rate scoring above an aggregate threshold. This will discourage stat padders. Manucrick, express bowling, BacktoCricaddict and 1 other 2 2

I too wanted it to be scrapped since its not in sync with icc but now we can see the Impact role apart from pacers also helping flourish the new age hitters and making the existing ones change their mindset. express bowling 1
