Stop lying.

It was Kohlis knock in 25 CT semis that won the semi for us, he got a MOTM too.

Similarly in 23 Semis Kohli was yhe highest scorer and that role of being the accumulator was given to him, your do take ke players would have shat the bed under  if he got out cheaply.

Your de kaudi ke players shat the bed in t20 wc finals too, his innings helped us reach the highest scorer in t20 wc finals and he won the MOTM too.

Similarly Rohit was the best batter of the final in 25 CT.

My answers are based on facts and stats, yours are based on delusion of living in a fantasy land.

Go produce the numbers and MOTMs before barking.

Its simple, if the youngsters are so good why were the seniors the highest run scorers in both the group stages and the knockouts.

No one gives a * about your hate filled rant that has no statistical or factual evidence.

Let the youngsters become MOTM in finals and semis of odi tournaments and then we will talk.

Youngsters will only win anything if they get a chance. When oldies take the prime spots without delivering, what are youngsters gonna do? In ODI WCs, Kohli has simply filled his boots with cheap runs and gone missing in big matches. Or needed someone like Iyer to play the main hand as he did in 2023 WC SF. Still waiting for him to show up the way Head, Smith and Warner did. That's the reason Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood have ODI WC trophy while Bumrah and Shami don't. And we'll see the same story again if Kohli and Rohit play the next ODI WC. They aren't gonna win the WC title. Rohit is too old now and Kohli only cares for his 100s and never gonna be the difference.

He is one of the worst posters in terms of recognising talent, he was one of those who declared sky a national treasure.

Wanted Hooda in the team ahead of Kohli.

He will continue ranting his hatred towards the performing seniors instead of arguing based on stats and facts.

SKY a national treasure??????? I'm the one asking for him to be removed and replaced by Iyer for almost 2 years! I have asked for youngsters to replace oldies and we've all seen what they've done in T20s and also Tests when given a chance. You're the one who would rather watch a useless Kohli 100 instead of India winning a trophy. Indian team has looked a lot better without Kohli across formats - be it Tests in BGT or Eng series, and when he has played along with Rohit the team struggled coz 2 passengers is difficult for the team team to carry. Same with T20s where the team is the best T20 team assembled. And same will be the case id the oldies are kicked out else another disappointment in 2027.

Why our youngsters can't able to win test series against SA in 2025.

That was their first Test series. The so called seniors and oldies lost against NZ and made sure we lost the BGT. And the youngsters drew the series away in Eng as well. Kohli and Rohit have been riding Jadeja and Ashwin their entire careers. Youngsters don't have the luxury but will turn it around the way they have in T20s and in Eng Tets series.

Gill pulling out int he first test cost us the test. We played with 10 players couldn't chase 124.

Yup. That was a pretty huge drawback. Essentially we lost a batter for the whole match across 2 innings. If we had gotten a replacement like concussion substitue we end up winning. But other than that the youngsters have done incredibly well across the board.

T20 team is untouchable, and there's enough talent that we can do the same with ODIs but we'll still go with Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja, KL Rahul and then claim "youngsters didn't do anything" when only one gets to play and that too a marginal role with seniors taking up the prominent spots.

Kohli fanboys agenda is simple. It's bowlers fault for not defending below par scores or it's youngsters' job to carry the team while the oldies and Kohli get a free ride for not doing what likes of Head, Smith, Warner, have done in big matches. Let youngsters have their say this WC else Bumrah will end his career without a ODI WC win.

Yeah don’t give me that.

Apart from Rohit and Kohli, others were youngsters only. KL Rahul was also once a youngster who was so talented that Kohli was jealous of him, once he started getting regular chances and failed to soak any pressure he too became a senior for you.

Gill, Iyer, Sky, Rahul were also there in the finals of WC, what did they manage to do?

Yeah once this team becomes number one in test rankings and maintains it for four years then we can start comparison with Kohlis test team.

In Odi even till the last series it was only Rohit and Kohli who were making runs for us.

Iyer is good, but your Sarpanchji is not a good player against bounce and the next world cup is in SA.

@Ultimate_Game lets not even bring test matches in the discussion.

Without both the seniors the team has still failed against SA. In which delusional land do you think that this test team is doing well?

With seniors we lost one series in 12 years. Atleast those seniors were doung well when they were young.

They were riding the coattails of Ashwin, Jadeja and our lower order. The moment Ashwin and Jadeja became old and less effective, the "seniors" couldn't do anything. The youngsters won us the best series in our history - BGT 2020-21 beating Aus in Aus. And that was possible when Kohli thankfully ran away and there was injuries to seniors.

It's our pacers abroad led by Bumrah, Shami, Ishant (earlier), Siraj along with lower order of Pant, Jadeja, Sundar, Thakur etc. who won us Tests away. And at home our spinners and spin all-rounders in Ashwin, Jadeja, Axar and youngsters like Jaiswal, Pant, Jurel who have been winning us at home. The seniors like Kohli have been utterly useless for the last 6 years (since 2019).

That number 1 ranking was on the backs of bowlers and lower order and spin all-rounders. The stars were Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Jadeja, Ashwin, Pant. The so called "seniors" like Kohli were being carried by them. The moment Ashwin and Jadeja became too long in the tooth and became ineffective we were clean swept at home by kiwis. The "seniors", especially Kohli were utterly useless for the last 6 years. It was youngsters like Jaiswal, Jurel backed by our lower order in Pant, Jadeja, Ashwin, Sundar, Axar etc. who were carrying us home else we wouldn't have won anything.

Kohli's contribution has been as useful in Tests as SKY's contributions in the last WT20 win and lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and being carried by the team.

Justice for Jaydev Unadkat, Sandeep Sharma, Harshal Patel, Yuv Chahal & Manish Pandey?

IMHO More like jusice for Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan, Krishnappa Gowtham, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Tewatia... All of whom should have played more T20is I think but for then selectors not having ability to profile players

Especially Krunal Pandya. He's just like Axar and a like for like replacement. Can't understand how Sundar made it into the T20 and ODI teams when he's more of a Test batter. I would pick Sundar in Tests but Krunal is ahead of Sundar in white-ball, especially T20s. Not sold on Gowtham and Tewatia as they're not intl quality. And Nitish Rana is similar to Rahul Tripathi. The one who should've been part of Indian squad is Krunal.

Yeah yeah, he wasn’t averaging 55 in test cricket at one point, right?

Present facts not opinion, no one cares for what comes out of a random posters mouth unless it is backed by stats.

Ashwin, Jadejas performance matters but Kohlis doesn’t, lol.

India was number one straight from 16 to 20 and Kohli was easily our best batsman at that time, let these youngsters perform at his level before worshipping them. We already saw the result of this overhyping in the recent test series.

Yeah right, 2015-2020 never happened.

When you are arguing with forum posters atleast carry some sort of honesty, this is not your IPL Dhonikhana

where you will utter random nonsense with 0 factual evidence and then manage to somehow win the conversation.

Krunal had been ahead of Jadeja too in T20. But again lack of ability to profile players. Like opening with Rahane in T20i

They were also at least a year too late giving SKY his debut

Fully agree. Krunal was given a few matches and he actually won MoM in 2 of them! He still has the highest MoM ratio to the matches played. He was sidelined when the main stars came back to the team. He was dumped to make way for the stars and we continued to fail with the so called stars instead of giving performers a chance. He has been ahead of Jadeja in T20s and on par with Axar. To me he's the shoo-in replacement for Axar, not Sundar.

As for SKY, he was brought in later and has been kept way longer as well. He should've been replaced in 2025 and Iyer was the logical choice for captaincy and just because Gambhir doesn't like Iyer, SKY was retained to keep out Iyer. SKY has no place in the team and it shows how strong our T20 team is that we can carry a passenger and still win with ease. When they added a second passenger in Sundar, we failed. Our limit is carrying one passenger just like it was in Tests earlier. If one of Rohit or Kohli was "injured" or taking a break, we used to win the series but when both played we struggled.

Likes of Rahane and SKY also have a huge Mumbai advantage and bias in their favor. Just imagine someone like Jaiswal has yet to be part of the Indian T20 setup or play in An ICC tourney when likes of Rahane and SKY have played multiple tourneys. Shows that "who you know is more important than what you know" is applicable in Sports and Cricket as well.

Huge chance for Gill to make a comeback as 2-3 sub 50s at 190-200 this season in IPL are enough to leapfrog Iyer, even though I'm not that impressed with Iyer but he's not selfish as Gill who will ruin his team's chances for his own interest

Team can't fit in Gill. Gill bats at the top and we have better openers in Abhishek, Jaiswal, Sooryavanshi, Samson, Arya. All of them are way better than Gill. Iyer bats in the middle order and he's the best middle order batter by a distance ahead of the likes of SKY. Patidar is the only batter close enough to Iyer but I would take Iyer over Patidar. At the moment Iyer is way ahead of the competition in terms of both performances and captaincy.

Same was the situation last year too,but they accomodated him making adjustments

Gill is never out of contention sadly, when others have to show consistent performance,'prince'just needs token performances
