Productivity is down. Do not have energy to go to walks in park. Dread to go outside in hyderabad. The pollution plus heat is making my skin burn.

Worst for me is Late July - Mid Sep, it gets so humid and suffocating in North. I prefer dry heat of April-May.

I don't miss Indian weather, in summers you have bugs and in winters there's smog.

There was a neighbour of ours in delhi from Himachal itself. We asked him recommended place for stays in hill station during summer. He said the best location for summers is your home with AC on.:((

There was a pic I saw today in a tweet...in the open sun in Noida thermometer was showing 44 degrees and in shades of trees in same location, it was only 28.

Whereas in humid conditions of late june, July the 'feels like' temperature (heat index) goes upto 52 degrees in delhi, in thermometer it will show below 40.

Last weekend, i drove 200km from hyderabad and back.   The AC of my humble 1.2L car simply could not cope with 40C (which is 45C on highway). Came home and crashed for two days :facepalm:

Walk in the morning itself. Wear linen clothing, sunglasses and a cap when you step out. Stay hydrated. Drink buttermilk, ragi java. Enjoy mangoes and icecream.

You have fortunately only 45 days to bear, weather is quite good in Hyderabad from 10th June. But we have to bear humidity in June July.

Temperature in the shade will be lower than the open area temp everywhere. Even inside home temp will be lower.

The thing is if you have to be outside, you will find it easier in the North than in say Hyderabad. In north , trees are infinite times more than in Hyderabad due to the soil n terrain.

But from 10th June onwards Hyderabad is great. No humidity..

Lack of trees are a big problem.
Everywhere they're construction commercial and residential apartments by cutting down the natural trees.
On top of that population density is rising like anything.
But north is equally bad, I was in Varanasi couple of weeks back and the heat waves were enough to cause fever.
