Tharoor is as centrist as he can go without breaching the party line. Deepak doesn't have the same lines to hold.

I have seen a few interviews and conversations where the guest is well prepared - knows Mehdi’s style and game and Mehdi keeps switching topics and goal posts depending on what is working / not working.
