Honestly I don't care about his IPL struggles 

 

As long as his test career continues in the vein it has been (he wasn't good in the home season like everyone else)

 

God willing , he will go down as a test match legend. 

 

His time in ODIs will come . We don't need him in T20i.

The T20 field is super crowded right now with multiple batters ahead of him, but Jaiswal can be picked in ODIs. He is a lambi race ka ghoda unlike everyone of those openers ahead of him in T20. He has the capacity to play a long and big innings. 

 

It's a shame he missed out on the 2003 WC and it would be even worse to keep him out of the 2027 edition as well. He has been very good in the test format but why should he be limited to it? As a young player he would want to be part of the more lucrative limited overs formats.

Among all these guys only Vaibhav and Jaiswal did well in the under-19 world cup final.

I don't know what's worse for Jaiswal - having to open with VS in IPL or with KLR in tests? Between these 2 situations, he seems like he is struggling to find his best form.

Can't always deflect blame. His first innings dismissal was completely KL's mistake. Other than that, Jaiswal needs to lift himself. He is too talented to let these external factors bother him

Bro has too many freakish, soft dismissals. He gotta reset his mind. There was one match against England where he was circumspect for 40 to 50 balls. Then unleashed. He gotta do something like that.

Saw on reddit that if you take out his 175 vs WI ... His average drops into 20's in his last 10 inns.

 

Think it Has a lot to do with how he has been treated in ODI cricket..

A player as successful as him in SENA would be a sure **** starter in an Indian ODI side in any era.

He should focus on statpadding for a while. An opener statpadding is actually good for the whole team.

most frustrating player i have watched in any sport recently.clearly he has a lot of talent but the results are not consistent and its also very unfortunate he doesnt have a place in LOI cricket.
