He can do the role that Phillips and Markam etc do. No need for a specialist off spinner. 

Yes he gets out at times but has the firepower and a good first class record. Great fielder too. We badly lack lower order finishers and hitters so he fits that well.

They may decide to go with just 1 spinner or a wrist spinner and a LAS.

Yes,can't have Reddy and Pandya at 6,7 that easily makes batting order quite thin 

Reddy as of now is backup of Pandya ,both can't come together 

It should be Pandya and Parag or Reddy and Parag

And Parag hasn't bowled that much offlate,due to injury

players at 6-7-8 are trade-off kind of players , depending what these 3 bring as a group and what rest bring on the table.

 

If few top batters can bowl than , then you a have diff set of 6/7/8 who are more batting  oriented anf if top 5 does not bowl they 6/7/8 has to be bowling oriented.

 

If 9/10/11 can bat a bit then 6/7/8 can be bowling oriented and visa-versa. Issue is Ind batters does not bowl and bowlers can not bat, so you need to find balance in someway, doing anything will either make it a batting thin or bowling thin 11. The other issue is Ind lacks fire-power so have to account fr that too.

During India matches stands are empty in Carribbean coz we play games in morning to suit Indian times.  No wonder their crowd often complains about it.
