No it is not.   You can't defend 260 odd even in Dambulla unless pitch is a ragger or you have an exceptional bowling attack.

This is not an elite batting unit.  You cannot leak that many runs in power play to them.

Ind batting line-up is not getting good scores as a unit. 

But the bowling resources chosen for these A series are  not that high potential. 

 

Here is the list of bowler who have been selected in some of the recent development tournament

 

Kamboj/Gurjap/Aquib/Yash Thakur/Vyshak , till now they have not won a single game by themselves 

 

Player like Yudhvir keeps getting picked and not play a game.

That ball in the first screenshot is having a different trajectory and different point of impact and pace wud be much slower too in women’s cricket..more chances of dipping

Just like they lose against Pak in Rising Stars or other such tourneys and then win the main ones.

All these losses are also due to fundamental mismatch where India sends developmental XIs.

That's how should be. The whole point of these matches is to identify upcoming talent and give youngsters experience. That is what matters and TBH I like it that opponents are putting out a strong team as more opportunity to see where the youngsters stand.

Selectors select Kamboj,Yash, Yudhvir, Arshad ro keep promising players out.

 

Yudhvir was never going to play any match,he was just selected to block a spot.

 

When Yudhvir, Arshad,Yash are in the squad, Kamboj automatically becomes the spearhead of the attack

Prasidh was selected as a replacement for Siraj and Ashok is selected as a replacement for Yudhvir.

 

If there is injury for a pacer selected for Afghanistan series or England series, who would be selected.

I guess Kamboj boat may have sailed finally (though never say never) chuski dogs still are hyping him up and hating Ashok calling him GT quota and rceebee fans wanted rasikh lol

 

Hopefully Ashok does well and there might be opportunity for him as well in Zimbabwe or Afg/SL T20s
