Then flip side is , Tilak is too good a bat to not try and give an extended run to, and young enough that he can learn the skill

 

But for how long? Luckily there's other series happening, otherwise it would be very difficult to justify Tilak in 50 overs set up ahead of say Paddikal or Sai

 

 

 

What makes it worse is the long deep batting line up. Kamboj at 11. The whole point of that is to allow the middle order freedom to take risks
