This is the lack of fire power and depth in the batting been posting about, tis should have been 420+ target but Ind struggled.

 

If not that big partnership, anytime 1-2 wkts falls in bunch Ind will have nothing, can not counter attack or keep the tempo up.

He is not a LOI player. They are trying to convert him into one.

YOu need strong power hitter down the order against older ball with new rule. They have the worst possible option in Sundar.

Sundar makes no sense , he is not top 6 batters in any format and does not have power game to play 6/7/8 in white-ball and does not offer any other skill.

 

In tests too , is he really the top off-spinner in Ind ???-- He can be a force multiplier in test when Ind has a settled bowling and batting line-ups where he can be good transition batter between the top order and lower order but on his own he does not make into any ind 11.
