This guy has a weird action. It is almost like it is an incomplete action. Not sure if ball zips off the surface. He has bowled 4 batsmen. This guy reminds me of Saumy pandey from 2024 u19 world cup batch.

Haha I remember he also played in India ODIs...our jokers struggled badly against him as well.  No one was able to take him down.

WI gave chance to a wrist spinner Vitel Lawes, he has not played a single match in senior cricket before this.

@Lone Wolf Pooks vs WI, the biggest spectacle of the year. Most underrated rivalry across formats, WI always pull the rug from under their feet. Chahe woh test series ho (even in UAE/Pak) or ICC tourneys. 

 

Wish Gabriel hadn't been a complete retard in 2017, Pooks would have been winless in WI. That result was so depressing, for me even worse than 2017 CT F. 

 

Roston Chase used to be so good in that 2-3 years period, deserved a draw for his rearguard that day.

That was probably last Hurrah of the Pook side which was competitive somewhat in test cricket.

 

Hope was excellent vs SL as a keeper bat and Chase is still good.

 

WI batting has improved a little bit.  But yes the bowling has to heavy lifting.

Trinidad is usually batting friendly so let's see how they prepare the pitches

I used to remember Corey Colleymore of all people owning Pooks in 90s and early 00s. I think there was a game which Jimmy adams and Walsh stole from them at the end when they needed only 1 wicket to win. Walsh of all people survived somehow lol.

Pooks will win the test series if pitches will be pace friendly because windies pacers are out of form.

Pooks have all Trundler attack barring Ubaid who has minimal red ball experience.

But Windies Pacers are very inconsistent they only perform better against Aussies. Especially both josephs

No they performed well vs SL on flat tracks.  SL has much more better batsmen than Pooks

Collymore was my fav for that reason. Also had great seam position
