Tilak varma's "experience" in T20 has helped him in longer format albeit on a dead wicket. Atleast he showed some temperament in the last 2 games.  Most of these guys are under-19 products. It is a solid working model.  That and IPL exposure give us a better idea than domestic. Raghuvanshi, Yash Dhull, Kundu, Mhatre are all solid talents.  High time we start grooming bowling talents as well from U19 batch.

Tilak averages 50+ in FC cricket

Chama Milind?

And not playing Kannaur Lokesh - the peerless KL - for this Chama?

BTW if you trail by >= 200 it is follow on.... what should be rule if you trail by >= 400? Match over without second inning played?

He is a bowler.

No bowler does have to come from u-19 path, the selections of the bowlers at any level in not good.

All top bowlers in recent times have come from Ipl scouting. Yes there will be some specialist t20 kind of bowler but lot of good high pace bowlers are coning from IPLsystem.

IPl scouts have done well with Bhumrah, Pradish, Rana,Sakib, etc..

U-19 bowlers are either fast or tall.

Nabi is not even 2% ability of Mahmud... Peak wobble seam masterclass again on County debut

He is bit tall and way lot more accurate and can move ball both ways.

Bd bowlers are able to bowl longer spell at sustained pace. Rana can bowl extended spell can even late in the day can crank-up 145+ kmph.

Hassan bowls 133-138 kmph through and taskin is taskin, his pace can be up and down but he seems to always attacking.

If you look deep he minnow bashed a few teams to get that average. I even mentioned that in another thread. Even here the wickets are flat, attack is a little toothless.

I was reading a bit more about it..  it's simply coz of DPL, they usually take DPL most seriously and all their top players take part in DPL and they invite even foreigners I think in their premier 50 overs competition.

Their pacers generally develop 50 over mindset rather than T20 one... Hence while they suck in T20s they more than make up for it in Tests and ODIs..

BD pace enthusiasts are also excited about their recent U19 graduates, Maruf Mridha & that Borson kid.  Both are pacy and skiddier

Hasan has not been good on flatter pitches yet. Good if movement is on offer.

Not sure of his record on sc and sc like conditions but he is v.accurate and even on not so helping wkts he bowls decent line and length at 130-138 kmph.

And may be 1/2 balls nip either way and he can get the wkt.

DL is v.popular.not sure if they still invite foreign players as all their Intnl players are not free when the tournament is on. But previously Ind/Pak players use to go there.

They have proper NCA kind of set-up they get foreign expert coaches there to work with newer players.

Since murtaza , all bd pacers have been really good , they have been consistent on the prototype of a pacer, all their pacers are tall, if not tall they have to be 140+kmph.

Bowlers like rubel was 140+ kmph, Tanzim is 140+, Taskin is also 140+ in white-ball , Ebadot before injury was bowling upto 145 kmph in tests.

Rana is fast and tall and Shariful is v.tall LA Pacer. even fizz was able to clock 145 kmph in his early days before injury

Can hardly remember any run of the mill pacer coming frm Bd since murtaza's time.

Hasan averages 32.6 from 11 tests in Asia. Less than 3 wickets per test.

130 to 138 k is pretty low speed for a newbie.  A minor niggle and  3 / 4 years later it might slip down to 125 to 133 or even lower.

They have him as someone who can bowl tight long spells.
