Both though are experts at wobble seam. Next year Mahmud and BD will put up a better showing in that one off test at Lord's Mahmud gets lots of zip and ball sharply dips into rh batters, if batter has not played him previously he is tough. I think that Ghori fella who replaced him in ODIs will replace him in Birmingham Think Ghori played odis in bd, got runs but looked like he was backing-off playing pacers

Vickydev Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Saud really had no faith in his teammates.. Which is understandable as they are all P@kis after all Number 1

Occasionally he might touch. That is a good pace for atest pacer

AKane Posted August 30 Posted August 30 I give up on Babar-E-Azam. Nothing will work for him, not even a name change to Humayun-E-Azam. I mean at least Mughal-E-Azam had the exquisite Madhubala. This Babar-E-Azam never mind a Madhubala, does not even score runs. I mean... what the heck? Vk1 and New guy 2
Lone Wolf Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Babar got a brute today.. as Broad & athers said it was similar to Smith in Ashes 2019 when he got hit. Babar looked a lot more comical though. Archer is bowling very quick this year like 2019 even in IPL we saw it.

With Simith's technique he is supposed to get hit, but he has developed it so well that he manages and use it to his advantage. Everyone is back to high pace this season, rabada, nortje, starc, archer Edited August 30 by tapandrun

Think increase in ipl pace is due to the challenge they are facing from local Ind bowlers , who are bowling higher pace and intnl. bowlers have to show they are point of diff. vvvslaxman Posted August 30 Posted August 30 They have perfect combo. New ball merchant, enforcer and a tailender killer. Suppoet bowler who can be good.THey just lack a reverse swing bowler like SImon jones. 2004 had the perfect combo.

But Rabada indicated he didn't do anything special. He said thanks for making my speed look higher lol. It is quiet possible IPL jacked up the pace by a few yards

It is quiet possible IPL jacked up the pace by a few yards Most ipl speeds matches to the intnl speeds, only team which is an exception is gt. Have not seen many exceptions where IPL speeds are something else and intnl speeds are something else. Umran cranked up 157 kmph in ipl he cranked-up 156 kmph in inlnt Mayank bowled 147-150 kmph in ipl , he bowled same pace in intnl Same of other intnl bowlers nortje, archer etc.. Nortje touched 150 kmph ,he is touching 150 kmph in intnl , archer bowled up-to 153 kmph in ipl same pace in intnl Even Ashok sharma even being half fit was bowling 148 kmph in intnl v.close to ipl pace When pathirana was clocking 150 kmph yorkers in ipls he was bowling 150 kmph yorkers in intnl bowlers does not have to change much to increase the speeds when they allready have high default pace, wood just increase the length of his run-up and from 145+kmph he became 150+ kmph bowler. Jacob duffy was 130-135 kmph bowler and now bowls at 135-140 kmph and he said he didnt change much coach asked him to bring more pep into the run-ups gt bowlers have done this in 2 seasons now, and they look diff from other team's bowlers as a unit Edited August 30 by tapandrun
