gakgupta Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 When i think of badri, first player who comes to my mind is Dabur Amla. S.Africa has been very patient with this guy. Duriong initial days of his career, he never looked like, he can handle international bowlers. But he came back strongly and quickly becoming one of the most talked about players. Right now, Badri cannot handle class pace bowlers. But selection panel wants to go with him, he should be consistently given chances for atleast 3 to 4 tours before axing him. Never know.
Number Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 CSK have a game today .. so OP still got a chance.
Yoda-esque Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Badri never did look the real deal to me with all his silly late cuts off fast bowlers. He never tries to hit in the "V"
Sachin=GOD Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Thread on Badrinath and no posts by Outy :woot:
Cricket Tragic Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Badri never did look the real deal to me with all his silly late cuts off fast bowlers. He never tries to hit in the "V" More like the Aakash Chopra shot - the edge to third man.
Yoda-esque Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 More like the Aakash Chopra shot - the edge to third man. I was being nice :winky:
King Tendulkar Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 How did this get bumped:hysterical: And out to the wicket walks the real deal himself:cantstop:

TheYuvi02 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 he will score a 100 off 16 balls and win the match for csk B->
flamy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 He never tries to hit in the "V" That's no way to treat a woman
MCcricket Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Badri should be shelved stored in the cupboard, just good for domestic, no temperament, strokes, susceptible to pace , no class, waste of time, plus not a team man , will play at his own snail pace.
rkt.india Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I had seen him in warm up game against England in 2006 when England toured India and with what I saw I had assumed that he is not good enough. In the same match, Munaf took 10 wickets and later debuted at Mohali.

Trichromatic Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I have seen enough. Only a short knock but this guy is class and needs a good run in all form of international cricket, especially Tests. Looks technically very good, calm and composed. Unlike some other like Virat he flashes away and looks suspect. I can see why he has scored bucket loads of runs in FC cricket. He knows his game and is ready to go. Right age as well as clearly matured enough to be ready for near instant success. No need for 1 year development like other yougsters. Also electric runner btwn wickets and very good fileder. I am very excited about this guy. Looks like the man to me! Virat and Badri :hehe:
MCcricket Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Badrinath is the Sanjay Majrekar of this generation , atleast Sanjay was a bit more talented, I remember him defending on the front foot a juicy looking half volley when India needed runs lol, it was technically perfect, bowl them six balls and ask them to score a boundary or six to a good bowler they can't.
