rahulrulezz Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Raina is one of the underrated player in our team...he always looks to score runs and has performed whenever we were in trouble... This guy along with new upcomers such as Gambhir, Y.Pathan are going to stay long..very long in our team
graphic23 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Seriously, make ze title to be like 'Rainocks' or something like that. This is a lame title :P
rkt.india Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 He is the best batting talent in India after Sehwag and Yuvaraj and i like his batting since U-19 world cup. His biggest problems is he sometimes become over aggressive and impatient, but in this T20, he shows that he has matured now.
graphic23 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I don't know about talent but he can be like Dhoni, definitely - in terms of making the best with what you have, and increasing the variety of shots you can play.
Laaloo Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 A good t20 player, and a decent Odi bat. Would definitely get found out in Tests because of his inability to play short balls. Just keep him away from the test side and he will have a good career.
flamy Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 :orderorder::orderorder::orderorder: change the title!
Show_stopper Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 I disagree with the fact that he'll get found out in Test cricket..his supposed inability to play the short ball is a myth.He certainly is no Ganguly. Sorry if the title wasn't good..i guess i din't give it much thought.

Flinty was serving him short balls after short balls and Raina was struggling.

Sachinism Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Suresh Raina c T Southee b I Butler 0 (4) Great observation
bunny Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Suresh Raina is a much better finisher than a 1-down player. MSD should just let Raina play 3-down and either demote himself to 4/5-down (when all of SRT, VS and GG are playing) or move himself to 1-down when one of the above 3 are not there.
Willow_on_fire Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Raina played a kick-ass knock....:two_thumbs_up: Yuvraj played like a clown....simple as said....jo dargaya....samjho margaya..it is about time he goes after the bowlers...instead of playing tuk tuk to cement his place in the team.

diegovegaz Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 it was an innings, which capitalised on the start by sehwag that too came at a time, after india lost two quick wickets more importantly, it sealed the game for us as the match witnessed rain interruptions
