dev.goswami
Today's knock by the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was another of his countless centuries. It now gets me thinking..he has reached 90 centuries a milestone no other can reach. It may seem a silly question..but i would want the views of my fellow cricket fans...What do you think can the GOD achieve what no one in international cricket ever has??? Can he one day be the first person in history to score a Century of Centuries?? Link to comment

vvvslaxman
Atleast once century against SA. Couple of centuries in ODIs will put him at 93. I think he will score more in ODIs. Link to comment
Ram
Of course he'll get it. Not only is he's playing almost as good as he's ever played since 2001, he also managing the workload on his body very well by picking and choosing what he plays and what he doesnt. He's definite to play ODIs at least until the WC, which is another 15 months of ODI cricket at a minimum and could easily continue playing test cricket for a year, year and a half longer. Thats around 30-35 ODIs and and similar no. of test matche still left in the kitty (fitness permitting). P.S; I hope someone stays close to Gavaskar with a Defibrillator handy when that moment happens. Gavaskar generally swoons for even lame landmarks. Imagine what'd happen if he gets to know another Indian, a fellow Mumbaikar to boot, actually hit a CENTURY of CENTURIES!:D P.S1; And oh btw, how much bets that it is actually Gavaskar who is commentating live on air when it actually happens. Somehow, he's always the one with mike in hand when such things happen. :D:D Link to comment

SachDan
What is the bet. He grabs the mike from whoever is commentating 5 minutes before the land mark Absolutely. Remember when Sachin equaled Gavaskar's tally of test centuries in Bangladesh during our tour of 2004-05, Athar Ali Khan was commentating along with Ravi Shastri. As Sachin approached his century, Gavaskar replaced Athar Ali khan. I don't think Sunny deliberately does that. More of broadcaster's wish :) Link to comment
Gunner_Mania
Hope he gets a big hundred at Lords when India tour England next summer. He has never got one at Lords. Link to comment
goose
Am I the only one who thinks his haul of tons would get more coverage if ended his career stranded on 99 ? Link to comment
Asim
He must get... By the way he is standing somewhere, where even good/better/great batsman can only dream for... but I always felt just 1 milestone missing in his profile for which he deserves the most, I personally wish he must get that somewhere sometime, a 300 knock...
