kabira Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 any review on Bourne movie?? without Matt Damon is it any good?
Texy Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 any review on Bourne movie?? without Matt Damon is it any good? Saw it yesterday...felt cheated. Alex cross is NOTHING compared to Bourne...he doesn't have the charisma nor the chutzpah that Bourne brought into this series ....they don't even stitch a good background story of how Cross came about...he just shows up one day. There was hardly any continuity between scenes and dialogues...felt boring and overdrawn at times. There are few cool action scenes but otherwise it was one lame affair. Absolutely no reason why they brought this sequel back. Left the theatre unsatisfied and cheated. I was so pi.ss.ed off that I felt like going back home and re-watching the Greengrass-Damon Bourne series to get my sanity back. 1.5/5
Mariyam Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I'm asking bcoz I didnt like GOW1 n dont wanna go with reviews of those who liked it Both are bad. GoW 1 and GoW 2 are a directors attempt at passing off rubbish as intellectual cinema. Barely a one time watch. Only go for it if vulgarity, poor jokes, and mindless action are your areas of interest.

Even the original triology suffered a gradual reduction in quality, Bourne 1 was brilliant, Bourne 2 excellent and Bourne 3 just good. Obviously due to 2 and 3 vastly diverging from Ludlum's original works. However 3 made up for it with some unbelievable fast paced direction.
DomainK Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Watched The Bourne Legacy a few days ago. The movie certainly disappoints. I hope to see Bourne himself and his amazing ingenuity in the next installment, which I hear will release soon.
jind Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Had originally planned to read The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini but in the end just watched the movie instead... Got lazy
suraj Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Somebody here recommended Warrior- thanks for that What an awesome movie specially for guys- simple story but impactful Nick Nolte scenes were just great acting by him- movie is about mixed martial arts but focus is on story about the family A must watch:two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up: Note: Don't watch when in mood for comedy, family or shah rukh khan kinda movie- its pretty serious movie.
surajmal Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Watched GOW 1. Superb movie. Although Gulaal is still Kashyap's most powerful work. But Gulaal wouldn't have succeeded (as they say - too artsy fartsy for Indian Standards) if it got a wide release like GOW 1& 2 have. Hopefully, this will open doors for more "outside of the establishment" film makers and rid us of the cancer that has ruined Indian Film Industry over the last 40 years.

Not sure if it was me... Just watched 'Warrior'- liked it...cheesy and predicatble sure but raised a sting of a tear at the corner of my eye by the end. But youre right, v good film... the fight scenes are brutal and awesome, and the acting is excellent as you say- lifts an pretty ordinary storyline..
Tiger-Don Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chittagong_%28film%29 WTF???
