I don't hate SRK, and I do like few of his movies but you could make it out from such movies like C.Express that its gonna contain a bunch of PJs and cliches like the other R.Shetty movies. I think the box and the key is the symbol of drowning illusions and when that key opened the box, then the warped reality came out. In other words, the box is the mind which has been closed by repressive memories and varied emotions that were born with the relations between the two girls but only one of them was serious about it who went into depression and started imagining things because everything was in mind. Reality was harsh and unpleasant for her which she wanted to run away. I still need to understand what the key was referenced to which brought the reality back. If box was the mind then key must be something too which opened that box.

It is a very small film, low budget, sci-fi/fantasy, about 2 friends who are working on a time traveling device by using which they can be present at two places at the same time and they started spending most of their time in that rounded box-like device. The device was placed in a small shutter shop.
