SLICKR392 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Movie wasn't that great IMO. But DDL's performance was his best so far - the way he portrayed Lincoln is incredible. Movie was okkish. DDL :hatsoff: Should read the background story of this portrayal of his, amazing!

China Gate was better :--D overrated movie .. but in popular western classic , 3.10 to yuma is great .. The Searchers is also good.. video and audio quality is as good as our current movies

Not a fan of modern westerns except for Django Unchained

Desi Cartman Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Saw Ram aur Shyam after watching interviews of many Indian actors as they all praised Dilip Kumar. TBH he was pretty ordinary, I only saw the movie as I wanted to see what was so exceptional about him but didnt find anything. I think he acted better in budha roles.

Good movies then- There Will be Blood Gangs of New York (C.Diaz, DiCaprio- Scorsese) Last of the Mohicans My Left Foot & Crucible (Biopoic) Good characters in Nine and Crucible. In the Name of The Father has a totally different DDL. Boxer, Age Of Innocence are other decent ones. Top character execution in all movies.
