We have someone doing that consistently at test level. VVS Laxman. More often than not tailenders would have faced 60 to 65% of the deliveries when Lachu is at the crease.

He has played really well recently. we are yet to see the best of him though, in the last two games he was kncoking the ball around with ease and could have exploded if he hadn't run out of partners. imagine if rohit was out there today alongside dhoni. it's amazing how much time he has to play the ball, he starts middling it the moment he walks out.

his wicket today was the turning point. up until then india were still in it. the dismissal was a weird one to say the least, nobody ever tries to get out in such fashion. he needs to be dropped so he can go work on his game, score some runs in FC and come back with some confidence
