don_corleone840 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 He should be given chance in Indian batting line up considering failure of our youngsters and flat pitches of subcontinent in the WC?:headscratch:
hitman1980 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 yeah for indian wicket.. he surely can be handful ..
cowboysfan Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 not happening as long as dreadful cheeka is the chief selector, that guy hates Uthappa.
panesarv Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Uthappa is a beast. We need him in the national team asap.
someone Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 not happening as long as dreadful cheeka is the chief selector' date='that guy hates Uthappa.[/quote'] maybe for the fact, he was injured recently
Zap_Brannigan Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 not happening as long as dreadful cheeka is the chief selector' date='that guy hates Uthappa.[/quote'] Yeah..how dare cheeka, one of just 5 selectors, doesnt select an injured player..its just a big conspiracy. Cheeka put injury in Utappa's uttapam to make it test positive for injury. Damn southie conspiracy.
Jersey #10 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 I would like to see Uthappa in the Indian XI over Kohli and RG Sharma any day!
sarcastic Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Uthappa vs Kohli in ODIs I would like to see Uthappa in the Indian XI over Kohli and RG Sharma any day! Can u tell me what has Uthappa done more than Virat Kohli in ODI format for someone to replace the latter by the former?:hmmm:
saneindian Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Surely inching closer to that number 6/7 spot in the batting lineup for the WC. The fact that he can keep/open/play at no 3 if needed, means the days of DK in the ODI team could very soon be over.
Lord Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 he can certainly be the 2nd WK bat for the WC over Karthik.
neiljhonson01 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Yes Guy, I totally agree with you. Now in Secon ediition of champion Leauge T20, in first match he hit 25 runs only in 8 balls.
riwi999 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Can u tell me what has Uthappa done more than Virat Kohli in ODI format for someone to replace the latter by the former?:hmmm: He has not done more because he has not got an opportunity in recent times, has he? Ok, he got injured (his bad luck!) but now if he is fit and performing the way he is, why not give him a try too? Good to have lots of players hungry for a chance. Makes them all work hard. Why do we always have to rotate between Kohli and Rohit for ODIs? Let them feel competition from a third person. Uthappa may not be any better than Kohli but let's give him a chance to make his case.
Andy Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Cheeka Meeka Deeka should select this guy immediately for any upcoming ODI series and stop the obsession with Jadu and Nohit going around Team India for a while.
cowboysfan Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 we will see, uthappa can be our backup keeper and a legitimate no 7.you need match winners at 7 and uthappa has proved he can do it.if cheeka ignores him for the kiwi series then we will have our answer.
cowboysfan Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Yeah..how dare cheeka' date=' one of just 5 selectors, doesnt select an injured player..its just a big conspiracy. Cheeka put injury in Utappa's uttapam to make it test positive for injury. Damn southie conspiracy.[/quote'] uthappa is from bangalore, cheeka is just dumb.
asterix Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Uthappa anytime inplace of that 'Posh Boy' Nohit Sharma..
Andy Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Uthappa anytime inplace of that 'Posh Boy' Nohit Sharma.. And what about Sir Jadu? :hmmm:
vvvslaxman Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 And what about Sir Jadu? :hmmm: You and i can replace Jaddu safely :winky:
