I dont think Pitch was all that bad tbh, Except tendulkar who got a good one rest of them were either due to bad shots like Viru or lack of technique to play on these wickets. How many times have seen Laxman getting bowled like that and Dravid using angle bat to defend and getting LBW. Look at how tendulkar defended with straight bat and both Laxman and Dravid trying to play with angle bat. Raina and Gambhir have serious issues, I don't think it will change.

The pitch looks suited for both Sree and Ishant... I am worried about Unadkat..he could end up being our Tsotobe.. and we have no Kallis to cover him...

Hopefully, it rains a bit tomorrow so our bowlers can have a chance. Ishant will do well regardless of the overcast conditions. Just hope Sree and Unadkat can keep it tight and we need bhajji to deliver as well

If India had fearsome pace bowlers like Steyn/Morkel or close to them, I am sure they would hop skip and jump the SA batsman. But they don't. So expect SA to put up a big total. India will do better in the 2nd innings when the pitch eases out a bit, but it will be too little too late then. Always hard to play catch up especially since they will concede a big 1st innings lead.

I think our only hope is rain and negative tactics. Lets be honest, we didn't get to number one by being an idealistic team that attacks all the time. Having said that, I only mean negative in terms of prompting for bad light all the time, slowing the over rate down, crying about rain and all the rest of it. Cricketing wise I think we need to go on an all out attack just to survive. Also, I'm sure things will be a LOT better in the second inning and atleast one batsman will make a 100.
