Pull shot will be one of them. But for that Pull shot in the 1st innings, Pujara ooked good for at least a 50 in the 1st innings.

Dravid's form is major worry for Indians like Ricky Ponting's form is for Aussies, he bats no3 and is almost a walking wicket especially on tough tours , where they needed him he has failed to deliver. His batting was total failure last time he toured here and this time also he has failed miserably. Pujara showed gumption in battling there today can he make any substantial score tomorrow.

Does not matter how many runs he makes in this innings. He has proved he is real deal and one for the future. Looked totally at home in very testing conditions, clealry technically sound and composed. Way superior to on hot coals batting from Raina. Made me feel confident and at ease watching him bat!

We missed a trick by not sending him up the order at number 3. Could have been a different story. Neverthess, despite not scoring runs, he has shown enough as to why he is a lambi race ka ghoda. All the hard yards done in the domestic cricket reaping benefits for him now.

I actually stated this in the other Pujara thread before the series started but i guess they didnt want to demote Dravid .

He will definitely come back. He's one of the most hard-working cricketers in the country and will definitely work on his deficiencies against the short ball and will be a part of the test team soon.

He had same problem in 2006, he didn't work on it. He can still score good on flat tracks, but on lively attack, he doesn't have it what it takes. Unfortunately, i don't see him ever playing with an ease on those tracks.

On subdued tracks he is a very potent no.6 in tests and an integral part of ODI/T20 teams. Also, considering the Indian middle order is on it's last legs and in a couple of years several spots will be vacated, we need seasoned players in the team to ease the transition. He need to work on his technique (like S Ganguly did) but in no way can he be totally discarded.
