achilles Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Genuine reasons- 1. They did an awful lot of talking before this series started and continue to do so, rather than focusing on performance. 2. They rest on past laurels and can't win even on a tailor-made pitch, being outthought by one man who is not even 100% fit = Zaheer Khan. 3. They have one leak too many in our ears but then start whining the moment they cope with some stick from our boys (a la Punter's teams). 4. They lack the ability to bat out and save/win a game and generally tend to crumble with just one or two men trying to take the attack to the opposition. 5. Their attempts at getting under the oppositions' skins usually ends up with an egg on the face for them, more often than not. 6. Their choking knows no boundaries at times. Feel free to add points/state your opinions on the subject.
achilles Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 7. They aren't man enough to acknowledge their faults. 8. They look for excuses and people and situations to blame on.
Sachinism Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Plenty of egg on the face after all the talk. As usual our boys let their performance do the talking
Roshanrocks Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 weak weak weak we were stronger though :hatsoff:
gaurav92 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Naah I think we were too strong, and were the better team of the two :isalute: Simply outstanding effort from the boys
Sooda Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Well we got smashed by them a week back, if they're mentally weak what does that make us lol! Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves...
vamos_rafa Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 They are too arrogant IMO. They always consider themselves as favs for anything and end up being ****ed up...
cowboysfan Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 i have to agree with achilles here.the saffers are a bit of pussies(especially smith).they have the temerity to complain about our pitches but lost today on a pitch tailor made for them.we dont see any indian players complaining about the pitch, the players actually seem to admire a sporting pitch.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 They are too arrogant IMO. They always consider themselves as favs for anything and end up being ****ed up... ++
Anakin Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 If the opposite would happen with pitches in India, you'd never hear the end of it from smith and co.
sandeep Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Well we got smashed by them a week back' date=' if they're mentally weak what does that make us lol! Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves...[/quote'] naah - we always stink it up in the 1st game of a test series @home or away - especially away. Besides they hit the lottery in terms of conditions anyway... hows married life treating you soody pop?
urbestfriend Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Come on, they have lost a test match by 87 runs, its not like innings win or something and a thread claiming they are mentally weak comes out!
Sachin=GOD Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Come on' date='[b'] they have lost a test match by 87 runs, its not like innings win or something and a thread claiming they are mentally weak comes out! its not just this match. They go into many series' and tournaments as favorites but somehow something or the other happens to their team again and again and they falter at the big stage. What will you call this tendency ??
jf1gp_1 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 what a stupid thread , are you telling me SA lost the game rather than we won it ?
urbestfriend Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 its not just this match. They go into many series' and tournaments as favorites but somehow something or the other happens to their team again and again and they falter at the big stage. What will you call this tendency ?? I know they have choked many times in the past, but calling them chokers and mentally weak every time they lose is little OTT.
vvvslaxman Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Actually they are good chasers in Tests. After all they chased 400 plus in Australia. Also they saved the test at Lords by playing well in the 2nd innings. But yes.. they allow the pressure to get to them.
Deleted_User_1 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Don't get too complacent. The series is still up for grabs and SA can win the next one and take the series.
Hindustani Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 SA didn't played well but credit should be given where it due, India bowl really well
