gaurav92 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Chalo niklo is sthreas se bahar. 'YOU GUYS CALL YOURSELF INDIAN CRICKET FANS.. i believe you definatley should have followed our cricket from past 10 years or so, yet to think like that. IF THERE IS ANY LINE UP.. THEN IT'S INDIA'S COME ON INDIA.. Nah Tics, is brahm mein mat raho ki Hum jeetenge, hum draw kar le yeh hi bahut badi baat hogi :--D
Manny_Pacquiao Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 We have to see off the new ball and the morning session' date=' thats the toughest period, but then again whenever Steyn is bowling its tough.[/quote'] steyn doesnt bowl long spells though. he is used in shorter spells, and SA use tosstossbe, morkel, harris in longer spells. on a flat pitch with little lateral movement (compared to day 3) there is no reason why india's batting lineup cant smack some of those other guys around.
Deleted_User_1 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 One word: Ghanta!!! Sehwag will be gone within the first 3 overs. Dravid sucks right now. So it will be onto SRT and Laxman to save face. Once they are gone it will be just a matter of time. This match will be over in session 2. Steyn will make the ball talk tomorrow. No chance for a draw, let alone a win.
hari504504 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 On a pitch with uneven bounce..Sehwag will be back in the pavillion before even the gates swing shut properly..
coffee_rules Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Fool's world. 340 in a day? http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63438.html India scored 347 on the last day. This from an 80s team!
asterix Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 :hysterical: Expectations from that joker Sehwag, who hid his injury to play this match? Good for nothing nutter, should've sat out this match to allow a fully fit player to do something for India..The guy has already screwed up matches in this series..High probablity that he'll screw up tomorrow too with his dickhead shots.. DRAWit has already ordered a nice SHELL to be made overnight by the select South African artisans..He will use that SHELL tomorrow to screw up further..

gaurav92 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 ^Yeah that tie was just ZOMFG amazing :woot: But there again, this is not the Chennai's Paata where Ravi scored a quickfire 40 :headshake: This is Steyn's den :nevous:
Asoka Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Absolutely no chance of a win.However there is a slight(maybe 0.1%) chance of a draw.

akshayxyz Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63438.html India scored 347 on the last day. This from an 80s team! Aussies scored at less than 3.5 in both innings and Indians scored at about 4 in both. That speaks a lot about the bowling attack and pitch conditions. This team can do it - but for steyn and few injuries and out form players in our team.
Texy Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 why are we ignoring Paul Harris..... the giant can do some damage on this day 5 pitch esp when our midgets fail
Clarke Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Sehwag has to score 150+ for India to win this one, might as well forget about it. I'm not so confident on the pitch easing out, we've been through this earlier with Steyn & co.
don_corleone840 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I'm very pessimistic about this one. 340 is too much. If we try to chase and win, we will lose. If we play for a draw, we will get a draw I think.

hatja_tau Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 i think if by tea we end up say 200-3 off 60 overs...we may have a slight chance. ..but its a draw for me.. 340 is just too much.
saneindian Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Even 300 could have been possible but 340 in a day looks nearly impossible. All will depend on Sehwag and how long he can bat. Gambhir hasn't fielded at all in the 2nd innings, not sure how serious the injury is. That too may have some impact on the final result.

There is a rule about this right , he can't come into bat until 43-4 wickets are down if he doesn't field..
littlemaster1982 Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Didn't Kallis bat at no.4 after sitting out the whole Indian innings because of external injury? Should be the same for Gambhir as well, right? Or am I missing something :((
