rkt.india Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 ishant was a fkn disgrace, the guy gift wrapped boucher his first 20 runs off a bunch of trashy deliveries and thats when the momentum changed in favour of SA. him getting prince out was actually bad for india 'cos dhoni gave hm a few more overs than he should have he lost his composure because umpires kept talking to him and i am sure that had some effect on dhoni, who chose to talk to him at the drinks break. i dont know how u can pick sree out for criticism when he was the only bowler that loked like getting a wicket and the only bowler that actually tried. There is nothing wrong in sledging ro saying something to batsmen..every team does this...but the main problem with Sreeshanth is he shows them on his face while others like harris and steyn do it look and flat faced and try to be innocent and also he thinks he is the only one who gets angry, excited, or has adrenalin in his veins....if he wants to sledge he needs not to show his emotions and expressions..this is not a bollywood film to show his acting skills...
achilles Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Congratulations Dhoni. What an inspirational leader you are. Leading the disgraceful public dressing down from the front and an ideal example at how to describe the team and its players' performance in front of the media. See, Harbhajan has caught on the bandwagon. There will be many more. And someday, all this will come and back you on the backside. And I will bump this thread then. Wow. I'm thrilled [/sarcasm]
Homerus_Unus Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Uh hello? Sree himself said he started off the first spell "lazy." Uh hello? Sree commented on himself and not on someone else. I guess you missed that part? Bhajji was in the wrong, period! He does not need to rub it into his own teammates to the press, FFS. Seriously, what's with this boy-scout attitude with Dhoni and this guy? There are no brownies being handed out.
maaki Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Ishant and Shreeshant are brothers in arms both have been bowling badly for a long time.. One good spell does not wipe out all the garbage the two have thrown for india. Nehra should have been here but for BCCI long term health worries by playing him in test cricket. Jaidev was a flop and the other pacer not getting any sort of practive too raw any way to be selected for the decider. Dhoni had no choice, dont think dhoni would have risked playing 2 spinners in SA especially since the other spinner was not Jumbo who used to use the bounce in SA well and get wickets on any day of a match.
coffee_rules Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 He opens his mouth once he starts to get wickets. Ojha outbowled him in the NZ series, if not for Bhajji's 2 100s, Bhajji as a bowler was a liability till now in the past 2 / 3 years. Coincidently, his batting has been the best in the last 2/3 years. Once the offside patch of dust was no longer effective (bouch and Kallis negated it well), his bowling was as patchy as Sree's.
Deleted_User_1 Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 If Zak is not fit or not bowling well, our pace attack is useless. Sree is a pu$$y at heart. He talks all macho, and then cries like a baby. His mental makeup is ruining his career. With all these shortcomings, it surprises me a bit that we are still No. 1!!
vvvslaxman Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I think he should have stick up for the other bowlers. Not even Warnie would say that.
maaki Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Bhajan needs to STFU and stick to bowling, one good test does not mean he has done a good job for next 10 test matches and he can berate others..
Ranjha Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Big stfu to bhajji haters...once again time to eat crow n go bck to ur overcrowded hole while the feisty sardar marches on.. Mos last series..great bowling 2 consecutive tests n handy 40.
CG Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Even southafrican seamer were not able to take more than 3 wickets,we can forgive bhajji as his english is bit weak also he might me on a high as he got so many wickets after some time.

arsenal Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 although harbhajan was a 100% right in what he said, he shouldnt have said it publicly as it could have hurt feelings of his bowling team mates. In his defence he may have wanted to just say that the whole bowling attack didnt perform well and didnt hit the right length, but since he smacked it with 7-120, it would come across as fake modesty, which is indeed another form of showing off. And then since he opened up the can of worms he had to qualify his statement, when the press reporters asked him. He was just digging himself a hole and im sure he regrets saying it.
Ranjha Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Even southafrican seamer were not able to take more than 3 wickets' date='we can forgive bhajji as his english is bit weak also he might me on a high as he got so many wickets after some time.[/quote'] Their spinner didn't take 7 wickets either. Bhajji surely deserved appreciation but his haters are burning or in denial lol..... I am loving it.
Ranjha Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 And you need to pull your head out of your ***** and try understanding what is actually being discussed' date=' fan-boy.[/quote'] Abe lallu....seamers could have bowled better. He didnt pick any one bowler. Just saying in general and not criticizing...why you getting ur panties in a knot?

pensionplan Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 What a utter disgusting thing to say. I would be very pissed if my any colleges at work would have said that. Act as a teamActually if you look at it HS is trying to deflect the total blame elsewhere when he himself had no clue after Kaiils started to attack him with the reverse sweep and slowly India started to lose the plot and eventually the match slipped away. Zk injury and hence the 120k or less trundlers, IS total ineptness and HS's middle inning woes all cost us in the end. So thanks HS but no thanks but we all also know you conceded 120 runs where runs were at a premium here when at point you had a figures of 4 for 10. Bottom line here at 130 for 6 if India could not finish off the innings at 200 or 220 it did not matter if SA ended up at 340 for 6 or 340 for 10.
akshayxyz Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 ^ agreed. its a collective failure from bowlers. 7 wickets dont tell full storey.
The Outsider Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 The guy is running his mouth like a brainless buffoon again after taking a few wickets. Where was his bravado when he was supposed to be the leader of the attack against NZ and at Centurion in Zaheer's absence? Who could have done better then? Oh yeah, then it was this guy's turn to whine about pitches. Riding on the presence of Zaheer and the improved performance of the fast bowlers, he picked up a few wickets, albeit falling short of delivering the knockout punch when needed, and has started biting the very hands which fed his bowling by creating pressure on South Africa. First grow a pair, learn to lead the Indian attack when Zaheer is not there, then think about giving advice to others.
Lord Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 by that logic Bhajji should've supported seamers by taking wickets on 1st day n helped them to bowl out SA for less conditions were in favour of Bhajji on 4th day,he should've run thru them.but once the ball got soft n Kallis reverse swept him he was clueless.3 of his 7 wickets wen tailenders were slogging him apart.so it isnt as if the greatest performance from him
Ranjha Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 It got nothing to do with the ball being soft...Kallis was playing like a dream...... The fact is he gave u top 4 batsman.....if rest of the bowlers cant get 1 player out, dont expect bhajji to take 10 in an innings...lollll
