Refreshing to see how tight he bowled in his earlier spell of 3 overs too without swing. Shows he will be very good for us in hopefully different type of match conditions and scenarios.

flamy Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Hmm only one match into it but seems like I might have called it right. Aaron seems to be better in one dayers with skiddy pace but can also slide nicely onto the bat a bit like Brett Lee. Umesh seems like he bowls a heavy ball and generally moves the ball more so might be better for tests. A good thing about the IPL is that both of these guys can bowl yorkers in the end (Aaron seems a bit better at it) so we might have finally solved our death bowling problem. Rare optimism from you. =)

Tait makes batsmen fear and I have seen him getting 2 wickets in one over more than twice of top order batsmen... I have seen batsmen screwing up their technique against fast pace... Those are probably the same speed guns of Neo used in this match too.

Why did the Selectors not take Action against this foolishness When england was beating us black and blue..why were we playing weak bowlers...an unfit bowler like Munaf can not be selected even for Zimbabwe international team as his Pace is like VK and fielding horrible...RP was out enjoying a gala picnic when dhoni called him and messed him Up and even RP"s career. In challenger trophy other captains gave 4 overs in each game to RP... I still remember RP singhs first over in england it was a Horrible SLOW over....can dhoni explain that

Guys let them be what they are , and not what they could be. Dhoni in the interview has said, the team management is aware of the dangers of exposing quick bowlers to extreme fatigue and pressures. He said both of them would be taken care of well, because they dont want them to be injured. Just pointing this out because , the Indian team has learnt this the hard way, they do not want to tinker too much with this pace attack, they have the experience to see how the bowlers lose pace after being used as horses. I'm sure they would not let that happen to these two. Its a exciting time for indian bowling. Lets be optimistic, they hang on to their thoughts and the bowlers deliver to the expectations.
