Dhawan , arguably the wort player of short ball & has done noting of note in his career inspite of having the luxury of batting in the easiest position in a batting linup , needs to be persisted with? watch him in England ? lol hows that going to tell you how he will perform in the WC in Aus ? While , Raina one of our bigger match winners inspite of never havig a settled position is unfit to play in side ? Why the bias ? he plays for CSK ?

rkt.india Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 When was Dhawan fluid the last time? He is one of those big risk players who'll always give you chances... its on other team to grab it.. Ozzies will get him in a jiffy.. So, you want to score quickly and don't want risk. Is this ever possible? Thing about Dhawan is he plays very less in the air so he isn't as risky. He just looked out of nick and tried too much. Anyone can have such days. He had scored a 90 plus in Asia cup. 100 in his last test.
rkt.india Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 probably champions trophy/tri series? he was mostly hitting 4s that hit the ground early then raced to the boundary. less risk. his issue is unneccesarily creating risks, like the tilted pull shot that got him out in todays match v pak T20 is about taking risks. How will you score runs if you don't take risks in T20. The guy scored runs in NZ tests and Asia cup too.
