Texan Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 As we have seen over the years, he's always inconsistent. Might come back to get few wickets, but this was one of the crappiest first spells you'll see from an opening bowler. Couldn't land a single ball on a good line and length.

I may be right or I maybe talking crap but there's a familiar pattern with IS. Its always the case that he sucks donkey balls with a brand new ball. Having said that, he does get into rhythm when bowling with a ball that is 10-15 overs old. Dunno why but it seems to happen. + He isnt a guy who runs through opposition even when on top form. Seems to work over batsmen over a long spell and get 1-2 of them.

Getting taken for a couple of poor overs is perfectly fine if you can take a top order wicket.
