yoda Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I want the process that aids decision making to be sorted out first - too much confusion currently! The DRS gives AIDS rather the aids the decision making. So there is no confusion without it? The current confusions are mainly regarding minor technicalities which can be resolved only if used and we find solutions as we move along. You can't wait for a perfect solution to fall on your lap before agreeing to use it. If it is better than what you have right now, why not?
Rohit S. Ambani Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Biased umpiring, and Shastri justifying Umpire's each bad decision. Viewer is robbed off genuine result. Dhoni and R Jadeja were clearly OUT.
SLICKR392 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Biased? Did you watch their innings? Stop blabbering RUBBISH and making threads about it.
kubrickian Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 You blew your cover there, didnt you ? SL/Pak troll :hehe:
vvvslaxman Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Now that seenu mama may be out, will the new chief will have a relook at UDRS?
someone Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Now that seenu mama may be out' date=' will the new chief will have a relook at UDRS?[/quote'] Do you really think that it is because of Seenu alone on this decision? Our great players + so called Indian experts are against it.
FischerTal Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 UDRS has two problems, Hot Spot and Umpire's call.
Crookbond Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Now that seenu mama may be out' date=' will the new chief will have a relook at UDRS?[/quote'] No, BCCI had a problem with DRS pre-Srinivasan too.
Texan Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Now that seenu mama may be out' date=' will the new chief will have a relook at UDRS?[/quote'] BCCI reluctance to UDRS is not due to Sreeni. I believe that there is a powerful lobby of senior players who are convinced that DRS is not accurate despite having no knowledge about how the technology works.

Crookbond Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Will they be using DRS in this tournament? The sort of deal which BCCI have struck with the ICC it seems. In bilateral series, they want both boards to agree which means India can disagree according to their whim & fancy. In world tournaments, it looks like BCCI has compromised that ICC can do whatever they wish to. Same pattern followed in the 2011 WC, 2012 WT20 and this seems to be for now the working model for the ICC until it gets everyone on board.
I6MTW Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Will India be able to use the DRS System in this tourney or will they be forbidden to use it?
Executioner Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Will India be able to use the DRS System in this tourney or will they be forbidden to use it? it will be fair if other teams get to use DRS, but india cant :cantstop:
SLICKR392 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 UDRS has two problems' date=' Hot Spot and Umpire's call.[/quote'] And if there are no evidence in DRS then the Umpire should stick to that and not overturn the decision. A little something what Erasmus did when he declared Dravid out when there was no sign of an edge on the hot spot.
Prakat Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Shocking display of negligence on their part. Two reviews taken by sri Lanka and both came up with bad news for us. This is completely unacceptable stuff guys. Are they expecting the players to do everything for them? BCCI needs to relook at their payroll strategies for knockout matches.
