Is Dada paying price for the Lords incident?

I dont know whether OP is trolling or rest of the posters .. Whats happening here? As far as the argument put forth by OP, I don't see nothing wrong this is mentioned in wiki. He is popular and successful captain because he had a knack of getting under oppositions skin which was hitherto unheard of by an asian captain. The same article also mentions:

His biggest accomplishment has been getting up the noses of a team which succeeded in getting up the noses of everyone else — Australia.

I don't know about Dada but I'm pretty sure your parents are paying the price for creating your ass :finger: as well as other idiots like deepak_sach.

Mob mentality of Indians :headshake:
Its not mob mentality. Its sometimes saddening to see the standard of a cricket forum go down because of so many inane comments and threads created by very few posters.

Not just that particular incident but Dada had a knack of getting under the opposition skin which English and Australians particularly despised because Indian cricketers never did that before. Also the cricketers whom Dada took under his wing like Zaheer, Bhajji, Yuvi got these aggressive qualities from him. They are good at mind games and never step back in a tussle. I dont know what that has to do with Wikipedia entries though.

Dada, One of the great sons of Indian cricket.... Was strongly criticized for his tit for tat action in Lords.... TBF we have seen allmost everything in the cricket world. Betting, Scandals, Wives behaving badly, you name it... But for Dada, I think world media has allmost gone into fault finding/recording mission.
:hysterical: is there something incident I missed??? Or is it something that was put in there to catch peoples attention

well those things mentioned shows how Dada captained India, He did not give an inch, knew how to get under the nerves. Opposition used those tactics against us in past, but Dada started this now we have others following it very well.

I know there has been some colourfull characters submitting their colourful remarks here. I will just tell you one observation. During IPL, Nagarani was covering for ITV3 as commentator.... Now just like any other innocent Indian cricket enthusiast she mentioned Dada, The Prince of Kolkata....Not playing for Kolkata.... Now immediate response she got was. I dont remember exact word. \but it was something as below. "Bengali and Kolkata crowd should get over Dada. His time is gone now. There are better options available". True. But Not single word of praise for Dada. No one said, Dada has served India very well, Dada is one of the best lefthanders in India, Dada may have got some years left in him. Looking at the expressions on Nagarani's face, I think Nagarani herself got uncomfortable with the reply. And Dada, After few days, went on to play for Pune... I know dada did very well to counter winding up from Aussies. But does that really mean that that was his greatest achievement. If I can feel the pain, Dada can definitely feel the pain. Whole cricketing world conveniently avoids question on Dada.

Some people need TLC.. I always thought Dada is one of them. May be I am over sensitive fan. What I see criticism may be is nothing :two_thumbs_up:

What is TLC? Doesn't he already have XABDL? I gave you genuine advice: You can register on wiki and edit entires or add caveats if you find them incorrect. But you didn't bother to do any of that. :((
