flamy Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Ya, i guess the 'a' gets dropped in the north. :D He is certainly bi-sexual, maybe tri :woot: Ok, he was celibate it seems :((
flamy Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Narada is one of the Manasaputra's (wish-born-sons) of Brahma. He has taken a vow of celibacy and wanders around, spreading the divine name of Vishnu everywhere. He is fond of mischief, and appears in many stories, starting conflict by spreading rumors. He is one of the greatest devotees of Vishnu. He had believed himself to be above Maya (illusion), but was once tricked by Vishnu in his incarnation as Krishna, into entering married life and having a large family. (Of course all this was merely an illusion, created by Krishna, to teach Narada that no one is above Maya.) My Goddy :icflove:
Trichromatic Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 He is son of Brahma. Manas Putra, as they say it.
flamy Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Yea, just googled a little. Apparently, he is also the Third Incarnation of All-Round Cool Dude Vishnu
gs Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Yea' date=' just googled a little. Apparently, he is also the Third Incarnation of All-Round Cool Dude Vishnu [/quote'] If he was, why would Vishnu take the trouble to teach Narad the importance of Maya?!?! Did Vishnu himself not know it?!?
Yoda-esque Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Must say that topics here can be as weird as they come:cantstop:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 So a revered muni of Hindus can be called a Troll and Homo.....but if we start discussing about Islam people get striaght perma bans and accounts deleted.......
Vijay.Sharma Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Narad was the original "Roman Agent" (ref: Asterix comics to know the meaning of roman agent) Sunnyji_2k, maybe it is because Sanatana Dharma is generally more tolerant than Abrahamic faiths and that's why it is allowed to talk about Narad as a homo or bi or tri but not others?
