Why is that a poor wicket.Its far better than the roads some Ranji matches are played. It had help for seamers as well as spinners.There was good bounce for seamers if they bend their back despite being a typical low bounce Kotla wickets.These are the type of wickets needed in Ranji trophy not roads like we are seing in Mumbai.

NO...this is not the same wicket we saw in test. This is a different wicket and is a very good wicket with grass and some good bounce in it.

Problem with the Kotla wicket is there is too much help for the bowlers, there was uneven bounce even on day one. Yes, its better than the one we played test matches on. Alas there are no bowlers capable of hitting even 130 consistently playing either for Delhi or TN. Could have ended with a handful of wickets.
