gaurav92 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 I meant we need to be patient and if we need turn our bowling woes, we need to invest for long term in talents like Varun Aaron, Rahul Shukla, Shami Ahmed, Yadav, Tyagi, Wagh along with PK and Ishant and give them time. It will not happen overnight. We have not done it because we want this to happen too quickly, but these things take time. Look at bowlers like Broad, Bresnan, and Anderson took time to become a real force in every form of the game. Add Bhupinder, Sukhinder, Rajinder, Tipender and Harvinder bros to that list. They have lotsaa tailunt to perfarm well at internashunall ishtage :--D And they can clock 140+ conshishtentlee :aha: I excite :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Sreesanth more than pk ,praveen kumar will be handy in helpful condiitons but in india or where the ball does not effective.Batsman will also play him as he plays more.

PK is good for overseas, but persisting with VK and Munna...

He is not the right guy to back. He needs to do it this FC season in ranji first.

He bowls normal pace and in India he bowls very badly in ODIs. Forget tests, he is not a test player. Worst part - 6 years in international cricket and no improvement at all. Bowling average of 37-38 after 27 tests is just crap. He should not be selected in the team unless he shows massive improvement.

Problem is we cannot rely on an iffy bowler instead we would have a bowler like PK who dont give easy runs. Sreesanth is not determined enough to work on his fitness. I don't think he had any big injury. He had a long break and rest to work on his fitness. There is no shortcut for hard work and hard yards put in nets to strengthen the stamina. I had a lot of belief in him, but he has disappointed till now.

I don't think he will do best in all types of conditions. He can be part of Indian team as third seamer in helpful conditions. On flat tracks and LOI, other bowlers should replace him in future. Just like English bowler line-up in which very few players play all formats everywhere. I would hate to see him being dropped after poor spells on highways of India.

It is wrong to back and then suddenly desert them, like he has with each one of these players. Kumar is one in the making and so is Yusuf Pathan.
