Vilander Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Venky prasad thinks he can make Shami a better bowler, concentrate in line and length. He also says pace is not everything.
panther Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Wonderful bowling from Shmai, very rare to see an indian bowler take the fielders out the equation, they way he made samules submit was beautiful, his pace was good and consistancy impressive, loving the whippy action.

Crookbond Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 rajeshstats: Shami's figures after 30 overs of the inngs in this match: 5 for 48. All the other fast bowlers after 30 overs in this match: 1 for 158
asterix Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Hope its "bye bye Chewtiyakant Sharma"".... :hatsoff: Shami...
skindia Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 another irfan pathan or balaji in making if history repeats....indian bowlers always fade away after initial 2-3 good matches
Zanjeer Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Wtf. He should have got MOTM and we wonder why we don't produce fast bowlers...where s the encouragement, ****ers?
Crookbond Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The only issue I have with Shami and I have mentioned it earlier (in this thread as well?) is his fielding. IMO, he's a touch below average fielder.

express bowling Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I hope that ...... Shami does not change what he is doing now. He will get many suggestions from many quarters to do this and that. Things that will supposedly improve his pace, swing , height, skin quality, hair quality blah, blah, blah. He should just stick to whatever he is doing now. Just make incremental improvements that will come with experience. Shami does not lose the flexibility and fitness he has now. He does not reduce the % of indippers he is bowling. Many people will tell him to concentrate more on the outswinger which he can bowl well too. He should stick to more indippers on low bounce subcontinent wickets.
