Let him establish himself in Test matches first in the next 12-15 months before having him as a regular ODI/T20 pacer. When he's not playing tests, istead of warming the benches in the ODI/T20 squad better to have him play more FC matches. Hopefully some lessons have been learned with the way Ishant was mismanaged. Outside test matches, he has played just 20 FC matches and hence needs to play the longer format as much as possible to iron out the glitches in his bowling.

From CT 2013 onwards we need to draft 3-4 pacers in ODI squad for 2015 world cup. Ishant, Aaron, Awana/Shami and Yadav ?

Aaron is a much better option than Yadav in LOIs. Same goes with Awana...not much idea on how Shami is in the LOI.

man o man o man... and we wonder why we don't have 150+ bowlers... Just look at this thread... the amount of criticism and negativity towards Yadav is pathetic.. He is our future and some people need to get in their heads

Uumesh can bowl some good yorkers as he has shown in ipl but in International odi matches he does not use them somehow.
He bowls them in ODIs too but does not control so is reluctant. Look there are 2 kinds of Umesh, once you saw here in CLT20 vety controlled in his runup approach and the other one in NZ test series. The difference is rhythm. He is running in slowly and has more control on his action and delivery stride in comparison to when he runs faster in his runup. He applied this same approach in the IPL 2nd eliminator against CSK and he was brilliant in that game bowling yorkers at will. One needs to be balanced to bowl accurate yorkers. I hope he continues to bowl this way rather than trying to run in too fast to bowl faster. He is still generating good pace.

The way Umesh has improved in last 2 seasons I'll bet on him to improve lot more as a bowler in the next 2 years or so.I can't replicate that though in case of Ishant... sad but true.

To be honest, those who criticize Umesh and Varun have never tried to bowl quick. They think cricket is like some sort of video games who play cricket like robots. They would not understand are agree that that their logic is bullshit. They are like these curd eating dumbos who think aggression is nothing to do with cricket. For them, cricket is like chess, not a sport where athleticism plays a big part. I am sure u have tried to bowl quick and all those who support pace bowling have at least tried to bowl fast. They are just computer nerds and I am sure they are mostly short and they have been bullied in school days. No matter what our pace bowlers do, they are gonna criticize them, and its better we ignore these people.

Umesh, Aaron, Ishant, Shami all have the pace and skills where if they are consistent and stay fit they can be good bowlers for India, also the fastest bowling attack India ever had as all can go past 90 on the speed gun, same way we should invest on the pool of fast I MEAN FAST bowlers not trundlers to be a force in international cricket, who are the decent bowlers we have in terms of pace and skills in domestic cricket,Tyagi, Suyal, Gony, Anwar, Abu,VRV,P Singh, Veer Singh, selectors are stupid enough to make the same mistakes England repeated and were at the bottom going for mediocre first class players and bits and pieces players.

Those highlighted need to first get fit and play regularly for their domestic sides before coming any closer to the national contention.

Shami is fully fit and has played for A tours only had a minor side strain , Gony, Suyal are fit and in their state teams, also have bowled well in state tourneys,Anwar , Aaron is fit and the only guy who had a back stress reaction and not a fracture,VRV, Tyagi need to play a few games for their Ranji sides.

Is that why Shami did not travel with KKR to SA? Suyal missed the entire domestic season last year, played a few List A and T20 matches and then got injured during the IPL again. Gony too missed a number of matches last season due to injury and was injured again during IPL. Aaron is missing in action for close to 12 months now , played a few IPL matches. Let's see how many matches they go onto play during the season. The good thing though is they are all young, 22-23 and have plenty of time ahead of them to work hard on their fitness, play more FC matches, bowl a lot of overs and have a successful international career once they mature.

Please read Rajput's interview I will add a link for you, Shami had a minor side strain and nothing more, KKR loves Balaji lol, Aaron was Diagnozed wrongly and had to spend extra time because of that, Suyal was the only guy with a serious injury but nothing like a spine injury,Gony did miss a few games last season and has been playing all locat tournaments , or you want me to send you those links?

The guys worth spending time right now are Ishant, Yadav, Aaron, Shami, Suyal, Anwar, VPS, Kulkarni, Chahar, Ravikant, and Sandeep. They need to be in that fast bowlers pool and groomed.
