CSK Fan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I am discriminatory towards ugliness. If you are dark skinned and someone 'rejects' you' date=' maybe it is probably more because you are butt-ugly. :dontknow:. Don't blame it on the color man[/quote'] How is being discriminatory towards ugliness any different from being discriminatory towards black and white, and not equally abhorable? A person cannot help how he looks just like he cannot help his skin color

vvvslaxman Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Most people in India are not fair skinned but when you see movie stars or models they mostly seem to be fair skinned. If you are extremely dark then you are even made fun of in public or if you are a girl then ridiculed by in laws. Even the ipl cheerleaders are white girls imported from other countries. Famous indian actors and actress are katrina kaif, salman khan, amir khan, john abraham, preity zinta are fair skinned. Why are Indians so obsessed with white skin? PS: I am dark skinned myself Just look at the matrimony .. lol color wheatish, fair, very fair... having said that dark heroines do have their place. Shilpa shetty, Bipasha basu, Rani Mukerjee..
Blue Panther Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 So the maybe the movie industry should hire ugly people to act in their movies or else they are being discriminatory ? :protest: What will u do when u get old,? the skin shrink, u lose ur beauty? how would u feel if the society ignores u for not looking good when u dont look good? Come out of this illusion brother. Show the people some respect and love irrespective of their looks, they would start loving u back.
achilles Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Returning to the topic, it is an individual choice. Everyone has different definitions. Some people are just a bit too extreme.
vvvslaxman Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 There is a theory that those who have darker skin are less likely to get skin cancer . Also white skin is far better at producing Vitamin D. There is a whole lot of stuff about this on the internet.
Rajiv Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 There are lotta of benefits of having dark skin 1) You won't be called "Chikne" 2) You look tough 3) You don't have to worry about being kaala in the sun 4) You are not conscious about your looks 24/7
